You're the one who's joking, saying you have an iPhone but don't know how to post a picture online... now THAT'S a joke.

Anybody ever heard of replacement styluses for shure cartridges made by JICO? I'm looking for an upgrade for my m97xe cartridge, and from what I read this is definitely it. It's like three times as much as the shure one though, so I'm hesitant to just throw down for it. Any advice is helpful http://www.lpgear.com/product/e007498.html

Awesome, thanks for the advice guys. I just used it earlier, I only have a magnifying glass but it seems to be a noticeable difference before and after. How often do you guys do this? I listen to a lot of records, just not sure to do it after 5 hours or 50 hours of play

Anybody ever use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean their stylus? Saw a bunch of YouTube videos and read a lot of people online who say it works really well. Already have it, but am hesitant to dip my relatively expensive stylus into it before getting an objective third party's opinion. Just wondering if anyone here has tried it, just looking for a good stylus cleaner since my cartridge is fairly new. Thanks

Thanks, man. I emailed him a few days ago asking if he would sell the last copy at the original price since mine arrived damaged... No response yet. And I'm not exactly dying to jump back into bed with this guy and send him another $25 (the first record still hasn't made it back to him yet and my credit card still has the charge on it). Guess it just wasn't meant to be this time :/

Gah what a bummer with that jacket and insert... In the big picture this guy had a batch of fucking awesome 180g records and basically ruined them with mailers made from peed on hobo beds. In all honesty, it's good to hear that it's playing well though.

You guys got me way jealous :-( I want to listen to that record! Screw this guy for his shit mailer and USPS for fucking my package up. It was the perfect storm of lame.

At the suggestion of another vc'er, I moved the records to the bottom shelf... That is how they were before until I recently dug my box of CDs out of storage and starting giving those a spin: set up

why must you see a picture, just take my word? I want to see a picture because the idea of someone collecting nothing but used records is highly improbable and somewhat laughable to me because the vast majority of used fans probably don't even know what vinyl is. You've had a bunch of people come on your posts and state their doubts about whether or not you are for real already. Posting a picture would put most of that to rest and validate what youve posted on this board . It will also probably stop everyone from smiting you a bunch too.

I have no problem with the amazon frustration-free mailers.. For instance, my recent Best Buy orders came in frustration-free mailers (10+ records) and all arrived in perfect condition. This was from a 3rd party seller and looked similar to an amazon ones but instead had been run over by a truck and peed on, and then reused to ship this record to my house.

Jealous. I gotta resort to eBay or some other means to try to get my hands on it now. I figure a large package was placed on top of mine during transit on just bent the whole thing in half. I'm convinced if it was in a proper mailer with padding it would have been fine

Even the TEST PRESS for this album went for $65 only a couple months ago... This is the problem with the "collectors" market on eBay, nobody knows what they're actually doing. I listened to Forget the World in 5th grade, Heads are Gonna Roll during middle school. Pretty sweet band to see live too. This would NEVER get pressed. Since we're on the topic of 3rd wave ska, i think someone mentioned this earlier too:
