  1. I don't feel this is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it deal. I reckon it'll be in stock for a while at the 100 or so shops (worldwide) that must be going to stock it. Couple of years ago when he was emerging some of the OPN stuff was seriously sought after wasn't it? Seems to have calmed a bit now. Never ceases to amaze me how cheaply you guys in the US get your vinyl for It's about £60 in the UK, which is $97, a full $40 more
  2. Ditto. No item that I have missed out on on the day has been selling for RSD prices a year later, let alone eBay prices. I just think, "Oh that's a nice item, I'll pop it on my wants list, wait til the furore dies down and pick it up at a more sensible price later" e.g Gorillaz 10" - £12 RSD, Discogs a year later for £5 etc. You guys know this already
  3. OT - I've been hypnotised by your animated gif for like 3 minutes now. LOL!
  4. Wow, soundtrack goes from Come On Eileen to Galaxie 500; that's gotta jar!
  5. As moronic as I sound, sometimes I'm glad when I don't like the music and it saves me £s Seems like a real dream team, but it's not grabbing me immediately from that one track. Give it time I suppose...
  6. Just 300 copies of the blue vinyl? Really? Man be on some fishes and loaves tip with these bad boys; seems to have been selling them forever
  7. senses working overtime

  8. Yes, think it's on Software, but the Software site is not kept up to date, which I find kind of frustrating when you naturally would look to there for all the details :?
  9. For 5 LPs, and given the rarity of the material, I think the proposed ~£55 (~$90) is a no-brainer (if you like this kind of thang). Appears to be limited to 1000 copies with no repress. Info: Rifts compiles Oneohtrix Point Never's (aka Daniel Lopatin) first three full albums - 'Betrayed in the Octagon', 'Zones Without People', and 'Russian Mind' - alongside a crop of rare and out of- print CDR and cassette material in a deluxe, five LP vinyl box set, and three CD set. LP 1: Betrayed In The Octagon 1. Woe Is The Transgression I 2. Behind The Bank 3. Eyeballs 4. Betrayed In The Octagon 5. Woe Is The Transgression II 6. Parallel Minds 7. Laser To Laser LP 2: Russian Mind 1. Months 2. Physical Memory 3. Grief And Repetition 4. Russian Mind 5. Time Decanted 6. Immanence LP 3: Zones Without People 1. Computer Vision 2. Format & Journey North 3. Zones Without People 4. Learning To Control Myself 5. Disconnecting Entirely 6. Emil Cioran 7. Hyperdawn LP 4: Drawn And Quartered 1. Lovergirls Precinct 2. Ships Without Meaning 3. Terminator Lake 4. Transmat Memories 5. A Pact Between Strangers 6. When I Get Back From New York 7. I Know It's Taking Pictures From Another Plane (Inside Your Sun) LP 5: The Fall Into Time 1. Blue Drive 2. The Trouble With Being Born 3. Sand Partina 4. Melancholy Descriptions Of Simple 3D Environments 5. Memory Vague 6. KGB Nights
  10. I think I meant 'hide the salami', but baloney seemed more fitting!
  11. Yep, they usually are For the sake of a couple of £s or $s I'll always go with the underdog, it's a Brit thing BTW, struggling to find any info on this, even from the Mute website. But then again Mute seem to be playing 'hide the baloney' with facts these days; thinking mainly of the Can debacle. You guys heard about the Can Lost Tapes coming out on vinyl? After everyone already forked out £40 for the CD because there was no mention of a vinyl edition. Not cool.... Best, Jason
  12. Lighter musical fare than most of the records being posted here but here is a loooong overdue repress for this acoustic singer\songwriter debut. http://www.insound.com/Veneer-Vinyl-LP-and-CD-Jose-Gonzalez/P/INS111840 Lots of happy folk waiting to snap this up, me included.
  13. And I stopped buying from Banquet because of an unfulfilled order. Website made claims that the stock room couldn't fulfil. Only need to get shafted one time on a limited item to never go back to a store.
  14. Thanks guys. Always give someone the benefit of the doubt I say, and thanks for the clarification on the Hot Topic quantity - I can always do without the extra palpitations of there being a scramble for a mega-rare item (old age!). Cheers, Jason
  15. Holy mother of god, I'm glad I checked the site tonight. I've been waiting for the vinyl on these albums for so long, I couldn't click 'Add to cart' quick enough. I'm in the UK and the shipping is an insane $30 on these, so $80 a pop all in but I've been reading a lot of hate and bad press for Shop Radio Cast, but with no specifics. All the online stores in the UK are falling over themselves to get market share and so customer service is always pretty outstanding. I've never ordered from SRC before and just wanted to get an idea about what the beef is? Also had a minor heart attack when it appeared there was an edition of 100 clear vinyl through Hot Topic, but that seems to be a typo and it's actually 1000. Can anyone confirm? Thanks guys!
  16. thinking about records

  17. Would give my left nut to own this myself! Had to settle for a none too shabby black copy just last week. One of my favourite modern classical\downtempo albums. Nice choice and good luck with your search
  18. Searching for AVA vinyl brought me here. And prompted me to post here. I share your sentiments about pricing though. Have a feeling they'd spawn a 4 LP box set for a £100 : Going to see them play in the UK in a month's time. I have high hopes; really stoked
  19. I'm new. My surname is Gash. But I'm guessing that's maybe not what you were after :-/ Hi btw
