  1. wilkins twp, literally 1 mile from woodland high school right off greensburg pike. apparently #2 lives 2 miles from me. so weird Punk Rock Neighborhood!
  2. My girlfriend and I may take a trip. Looking at heading to San Fransisco and Noise Pop Fest to see Wavves and Best Coast is an added bonus. This is like a week after V-Day though.
  3. I was just thinking about this too. I have a good "nest egg," but I wouldn't want to use that as a down payment in case anything ever happened to me like losing my job. So saving up for a down payment looks like it will take quite a long time.
  4. Here is my list w/ all of my CDs: http://www.recordnerd.com/lists/scottauth I'm thinking $3 each + shipping, does that sound fair? If not, let me know. I can probably offer discounts if you buy a lot. Most promos can end up being free or maybe a dollar or two, depends if it's a nice promo w/ covers, inserts, etc. or if it's just a CD in sleeve. Just about every CD is for sale, sans a few items, I don't know off the top of my head, so if you ask for something that I'm not selling I'll just let you know (No Weezer). Some of the more valuable ones are going on eBay, I can let you know about those as well if you end up asking for one. PM me w/ what you're interested in. Thanks!
  5. I use the free version for Turbo Tax and just pay for the state. I believe there are ways to do it for free since mine are so simple, but whatever, it's like $30 and it imports all of my information.
  6. I have no interest in listening to this. Oh well...
  7. What area? I've been looking at random places just trying to get an idea of where I'd maybe like to move.
  8. I've considered those. Perhaps I should have asked in my initial post about 2.0 and 2.1. Do I HAVE to have a sub-woofer? I listen to all different types of music, so sometimes that extra bass is nice, but is it required? Those speakers get great reviews and the price is practically perfect for me right now.
  9. I'm looking for recommendations for good computer speakers. Currently I have a pair of older Harmon Kardon's from my gf connected to my desktop. These will mainly be for music, I don't really play games on my computer. Also, 2.0 or 2.1 only, small office. Amazon links would be ideal as I have a bunch of credit there.
  10. I have a lot of friends and I do go to their places or bars for games, but sometimes I host and my bar tabs aren't always the cheapest. Not to mention, sometimes it's nice just to sit at home and watch.
  11. I always tell people, don't worry too much about the headliners. Easily the dullest part of the festival IMO. Unless you really love the band and wait awhile to get up front, then more than likely you'll be really far away and around a million people. I usually just sit down and relax during those times.
  12. If it wasn't for hockey I would cancel cable in a second. I'd rather pay for Netflix and Hulu or something. But I usually have people over for Pen's games and streaming them just isn't that reliable and the quality doesn't compare. I wish NHL's Gamecenter didn't blackout local. I'd pay whatever they wanted, because it'd still be cheaper than Comcast for an entire year.
  13. I've been reading into this stuff since I know the time will come for me to get a house in the future. I've seen a lot of mentions that you should check out the neighborhood at all times of the day, especially at night, ya never know how crazy a neighbor could be, heh. A lot of people say to go for a 15yr mortgage instead of a 30, because the savings will be substantial. Don't forget to consider property taxes and that, those can be quite large pending on where you'll be living.
  14. Would go, but I'm doing Bonnaroo again this year. Coachella is just too expensive for an East Coaster.
  15. Boo, this is the week before Bonnaroo, can't swing both.
  16. Packers v. Steelers Super Bowl would be incredible!
  17. I just read this article on Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/14/exclusive-the-future-of-the-ipad-2-iphone-5-and-apple-tv-and/ They got some juicy info from a source that been reliable in the past. If you read on, apparently the iPhone 5 will be a substantial update. That being said, I would wait for the 5.
  18. For Sale: Brand New - Deja Entendu I was going to set a price, but I have no idea what this goes for and I didn't see any recent auctions on eBay, so feel free to make an offer via PM.
  19. I understand that part. My question is if you have an incoming call and you ignore it, can you seamlessly continue browsing (on phone or wifi hotspot)? AT&T fanboy claims that the incoming call cuts off your connection regardless of whether you choose to receive or ignore it. Oops, my bad. I'm not sure... I did LOL at the idea of AT&T Fanboys though. We live in a strange world.
  20. CDMA phones are unable to process data and voice at the same time. I'm not sure how it works w/ a hot spot, but say for example you're on a call with someone and you want to look up directions w/ Google Maps, you can't do it. Or if you're on hold and want to check your e-mail, you can't do it.
