Regarding B-sides, when I asked mid-December about it they said there was no definite release date yet but to keep an eye out in early 2014. Hopefully this is happening soon! Spartan mentioned yesterday they were thinking up colors for an upcoming press, I'm hopeful that it is D:Bsides.

I saw Spartan post the change to the orange variant and it caught my attention. They grabbed me with pretty colors so I placed an order - while slightly more expensive than some other places, I've gotten 3 other records from Spartan and they have been absolutely beautiful and I don't mind paying a small premium as long as the releases are as consistently as good as they have been.

Hey guys, could someone give me an opinion on something? I have a relatively limited budget to get my first set up running and plan on upgrading piece by piece over time. My original plan was to get the DJ PRE2 phono preamp and the Audioengine N22 amplifier for around $225. Recently, however, I've found some decent prices on integrated amplifiers including $250 for the Yamaha A-S300. Are either of these options acceptable? Is the Yamaha markedly better than the ART/Audioengine combo? Thanks guys.

Hi friends, new kid here. Please don't bite. The OP suggests the Yamaha A-S300 as a very low-end receiver with phono. I don't have an exorbitant budget, so I was looking at the Yamaha R-S300BL as an option. Is there any reason why this wouldn't be an acceptable receiver? I live in a 3-room (not bedroom, ROOM) apartment so I don't need it to be loud or large. Am I correct in my understanding that if I were to get this receiver (or the A-S300) I would not need a phono preamp? Thank you.

What are the chances SRC will have colors other than black? Funds are tight but I need a few of these albums and would like something other than black.

I hope the Toh Kay record is just delayed and not outright canceled. I'm so pissed, I can't even imagine how they feel. People are always going to sell shit. One per person means there aren't a hundred similar listings and more got into the hands of people who want them for more music-friendly reasons. As long as something is available to the public, it will be purchased for reasons you don't agree with. The only solution is for the record to never exist at all.
