^^^^ People join this forum just for variant news. Its what people do. I cant get mad at people just discovering him or for people wanting this rare LP. Ive done it for other artists. We're all collectors. We all enjoy the hunt. I hope people enjoy the album if they ever open it.

Pretty sure a lot of people in their 30s got into Bowie like i did. I knew the hits obviously but it was the NIN friendship that made me really check him out.

The last two songs on the record always leave me floored. Awesome album.

Eh nothing i can do. I didnt even remember their names but im sure the manager knew. The initial rage makes you want to leave work early and go yell at every male employee there but the store manager was zero help on the phone and didnt care one bit about fixing it or checking things out. Either way i wasnt getting their clear copy anymore. Like i said i'll call their higher ups maybe. Im just glad i found one.

Yeah i got lucky. Kind of a bummer because ive always liked going to the store that screwed me over. Their database for inventory definitely needs improving. I bought the other store's only copy and it stayed showing as being in stock for another 12 hours

Never actually paid. Its their "reservation" form on the website when a location shows as having one in stock. Received an email confirmation that it was mine and that first employee who answered the phone said the same. I'll probably complain to corporate. Might end up with a free bookmark and a half assed apology! Bastards.

I had an employee take my reserved copy. 100% convinced. I had reserved it online at a store and then called twenty minutes before the store opened. One guy (who said he didnt work the music section) had it in hand and read the damn sticker to me even. Confirmed it was clear and that it was definitely mine per the reservation i made. Left my name taped to it. Another employee calls me back ten minutes later and said that they never got any copies so my reservation was cancelled. Said the guy earlier was "confused". Manager refused to help me. Ended up with one from another store so im done shopping at the other one.

Found a clear today in store. They finally got their shipment in a week late. They only received 1 copy Love this album. Wow

Some stores are either just getting their order or they're getting more. Like i said my local store had four arrive yesterday morning

Found a black copy instore. My local store got 5 clears in today but their waiting list got all of them.

Actually a legit band from Seattle who got the short end of the stick because they were much younger than the 4 huge Seattle bands in 93. First two albums were really good.

Identifying it as a 2nd pressing when A. It was put on sale the same lunch break for people And B. They've stated that its /4000 Will just cater to flippers.

I think after announcing it as /4000 it wont last long. Glad i read that. I thought it was made to order with a cut off date like pearl jam does. Just ordered. I was going to wait until next week

Took my 2 year old to ACL last year. They were the first group we watched. He has a pretty cool first concert story. Pre-ordering today.
