  1. It's an EP haha. Take a picture, send it to [email protected]. If it's bad we will replace it. We didn't do the digital release for this record, only the vinyl - download cards are only included if the product page says so.
  2. usually good service although every time i've ordered a preorder from them in the past, it's been pretty heavily delayed. the transit KTTY one was very backed up, and their current issue is tower and the fool. but those things happen. the weirder thing is that your record doesn't leave their warehouse until 5 days after you get a shipping confirmation haha.
  3. We just got this update ourself today - probably will send an email on Monday after we ship the rest of this Fourth of July sale.
  4. For reference, our mailorder is on point, we just had to reject the first test presses. Better to wait three weeks than get a slightly shitty sounding record, no? It's not an exact science when it comes to this stuff. We had a Fourth of July sale and had several hundred orders, most of which are shipping today. So that's just a reference point - when the Gilbert 7"s come in, they'll ship the day after or so.
  5. The first batch of test presses were rejected. We got the second batch, approved them, and the entire pressing has been manufactured. The people at the plant are out of the office until Monday but they should be shipping next week, and we're shipping them right when we get them in our warehouse. Do people always just stop ordering from labels or distros the first time they have an order that takes a little too long? The release date was two weeks ago - that's really not that bad! I recently ordered an April 24 release from a label of a similar size which I'm still waiting to receive. That's over two months and I'm not that mad about it...I don't understand the reactions from people sometimes.
  6. I think that product that says "available to the first 300" will go away when 300 people order it....the product right next to it is the exact same thing, same price, without the autographed part. So I'm sure if you clicked the one on the upper left, you were one of the first 300. At least that's what I did so I hope so.
  7. Waiting for the super deluxe CD of this as well. I wrote 2,000 words in my review of this album, I will throw all of my dollars at it, I love it so.
  8. we will be very busy tomorrow with mailorder, thanks everyone who ordered
  9. Someone just ordered 8 LPs and 2 7"s and paid $43 including shipping. That's an average of $4.30 per record WITH SHIPPING. Who the fuck is playing games here? You won't see a better sale all year.
  10. different shipping prices for preorders ... we like to reward those who buy early
  11. The exact shipping policies I wanted to implement did not get implemented. I don't have full control here, I don't own the label, not everything is my decision. However it has never been $2 to ship a 7" lol. It has never, ever, EVER been $2 to ship a 7" in our webstore. Mainly because it costs more than that to ship one no matter how you ship it!
  12. who did you email? the customer @ P+P gets checked every day. For what it's worth, the highlighter one is more rare than coffee by a decent amount - maybe that makes it easier to track down the coffee than if you were tracking down the highlighter instead? i'm bummed about the situation too.
  13. yes to an obnoxious extent. i don't even like opening them. (i don't like coffee)
  14. The records we're shipping aren't warped...they arrive warped I'm guessing because of the heat. Last summer we bumped our shipping prices up so they'd be enough to cover parcel post instead of media mail (increases the chances of getting a non-warped record because it gets there faster) but people flipped their shit about that extremely. As for not having enough of the coffee variant, I'm very pissed that the plant didn't finish pressing the entire batch of them before taking out the coffee thing (then refusing to make more) but I can guarantee no one has ever seen anything like the pink highlighter variant we're going to do to replace them.
  15. what's up with these shirts? still willing to pay for an XL haha edit: of the orange
  16. I think now that I've had enough time to sit with this record, I'll probably go ahead and buy one of the preorders. I really, really want that book, but really don't have $100. Maybe if the record was THAT good.
  17. Really want to preorder this, because I really like the record....but why is the shipping for LP + poster $7.50? The LP/shirt combo is up to $35 with shipping too. Sucks.
  18. I never realized AP.net users were so widely regarded as liars!
  19. This could just mean it's sitting in the RFC warehouse and hasn't been taken to the post office yet. Not the most uncommon thing with independent mailorder. Mine said it shipped today, excited to finally listen to this.
  20. People making a huge deal out of someone saying they got a preorder. Doesn't seem like that big of an offense to me. I like this album but can't decide whether I should buy the big package...I really want that book though.
  21. Side note: I have a Hellmouth Bible Ash LP of the Skylines record that I'm looking to trade, from my personal collection (actually purchased it when it came out, before I even started interning at the label), in order to put some money toward a new turntable. It's the variant where the band burnt a 16th Century German Bible and pressed the ashes of the book into the wax. It's unplayable unless you want to see what it does to your needle and when you touch it, your hands get a bit ashy. But only 33 of them were made. I currently have it hanging on a wall so I can mail it framed or just in the normal LP jacket. We've sold a couple since I've been at the label for charity auctions and I think they went for about $125...I'm not a charity so I wouldn't be looking for that much. Let me know if any of you guys are interested.
  22. I can guarantee you that the shipping never went up and down like that. The way the back end of the store used to work (Limited Pressing has fixed this within the last month, when our store became a Limited Run store) is that you'd have to go adjust the price of shipping for individual items. That means to change the shipping prices, I would have had to go into hundreds of different product pages and manually click a different shipping option before the sale, then go back and change it back to whatever it used to be after the sale ended. There are literally hundreds of products in our store, and hundreds more that are in the back end but not actively for sale. Basically, what I'm saying is, even if we WANTED to do this with the shipping, it would take several hours to even execute it. If we really cared that much, we'd just make the sale less...make it 15% off instead of 20% off....or charge $6 for LPs instead of $4....I don't think people would yell at us for our expensive $6 LPs, you know?
