Made playoffs in 2 of 3 leagues... i missed the playogfs in my 3rd league because of andy fucking dalton....
I'm glad I benched Dalton a few weeks back, once Roethlisberger was back in action; however, first Lynch gets injured on me, then Rawls, I can't win.

Man, I really want to love Ghost Bath, seriously. The music is beautiful, while complex and aggressive at the same time; but I just can not get past those terrible cartoon-like vocals. I'm gonna keep trying to deal with them, as the music is so damn good.

After numerous drunk attempts, I finally finished Kristy. It's pretty to explain the premise, simply by naming a few movies: The Strangers, Preservation, Funny Games, Eden Lake, etc. There were a few decent jump scares and I really do enjoy Ashley Green. Kristy isn't bringing anything new to the table, but it's worth wasting an hour and a half if you're looking for something to watch.

Yeah. She's in a rough spot, no doubt. I graduate friday. Not law school, but undergrad anyway. It's a huge relief to have that done. On to grad school.
Early congrats, man. What's your degree? I actually really do kinda miss school I plan on going back as soon as the lady is done with law school.
-
So what you're saying is that they loved it and thanked you. Obviously.
Thank you cards will be mailed
-
Similar to yours! My lady is shopping with her father for her mother.
I'm drinking and listening to Bright Eyes, so I'm basically ready to cry. But ya know, in a good way.
Sounds like a decent Tuesday plan. I'm appreciating not being in school anymore as I watch her going over flash cards over and over again.
-
Well it's been awhile since I've been in here, but the lady is studying for law school finals and I'm drinking bourbon; hows everyone else's Tuesday night?

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse was everything a horror/comedy should be: crude, gory, and incredibly funny. I know the whole zombie comedy has been pushed to (forgive the pun) death; but this one is definitely worth a viewing for those that still enjoy a good zombie cat scene.

So, I never u set stood the whole Springsteen comparison regarding Gaslight. Sure, they play four chord rock n' roll and Brian has a gruff voice, but there weren't a whole lot of similarities outside of geography. However, this tune has got Springsteen all over it and I love it.

Dang, just started this new Sidekicks record for the first time and after about four songs in, I definitely see this ending up as one of my favorites of the year.
-
Dang, that is a killer team. I don't see how you can't win your league with that.
It took some trial and error and constant use of the waiver to finally get a team I'm co fisney with. Fingers crossed!

Agreed. I look forward to the DC shows every year. I think the winter one is better, but the summer show is usually less attended and easier to get solid deals. As it gets closer, if you guys are going we should meet up at the show and grab a beer.
I'm down for it

Cold Cave- Cherish the Light Years
Little Boots- Hands
The Presets- This Boy's in Love

I really like that poster of the kitty cat that says, "hang in there." It's really uplifting; you have a bad day and you just look at that poster hanging over your air mattress and you think, "I will hang in there kitty, I will hang in there." I don't know if it's a VC exclusive poster, but I bought mine at the Stafford Elementary book fair and they didn't ask what forums I'm part of, so I'm sure any of you guys could probably go get one too.

I live in DC now, so I'll be there

Both of these sound fantastic. As I've said before, Goo Goo Dolls have consistently been one of my favorite bands since I was 13 and Rzeznik is just a stellar songwriter. Like everyone else, I'd love a copy of SCW
-
My current lineup killed it last week
QB- B. Roethlisberger
WR- A. Robinson
WR- M. Bryant
WR- D. Baldwin
RB- T. Rawls
RB- D. Williams
TE- B. Watson
K- R. Gould
D- KC
We have a couple of weeks before playoffs and my league is lookin pretty close

- Being a huge Gaslight fan, I'm really stoked on the Fallon solo record. From the bit of live material I've heard, it sounds like the songwriting has gotten substantially better; and I didn't hear him say either 'blood' or 'radio' once.
- Austin Lucas has been consistently putting out one great release after the next, with each record sounding bigger than the last. I'm really excited to hear what he's got for 2016.
- Like everyone else, after hearing Bon Iver tease new tunes live, I have since kept my fingers perpetually crossed for new music on the way.
- I discovered Pallbearer around the end of last year and spent the majority of the beginning of 2015 submerged in both of their releases. With their sophomore effort trumping their already amazing debut record, I can't wait to hear their third album.
- Where have those kids in Crusdes been since 2013? I'm hoping they've been busy writing and working on a new album for 2016.
- Love Comes Close was such a stellar record and Wes Eisley has been one of my favorite lyricists since American Nightmare. He's teased with single 7" here and there since Love, though each one is a stripped down version of Cold Cave that lacks the fullness and melodic songwriting that came with Love that I'm hoping will see a return next year.
- Travis Barker told the Twitterverse that there will be a new Blink 182 effort in 2016. Blink meets Matt Skiba and a 19 year old version of me doesn't know how to react, in a very good way. 32 year old me is just as stoked.

From my understanding, isn't the reason it was never published in the first place due to Harper Lee considering it to be a first draft for TKaM?
I haven't read the new one, to be fair, but not sure how much interest could be garnered from that.
Yeah, the original TKaM was just a small side story within GSYW and her editor thought the story within was stronger. Mockingbird has always been one of my favorite novels, but Go Set is just hard to read.

So this has happened to me a couple of times on the exact model. It's very possible that the hard drive slipped out of place, open her up and remove it and reinstall. It's incredibly easy and you can find a tutorial online. If this isn't the case, it's possible the RAM is shot. What DAW program are you using and how much RAM do you have? Depending on what you're doing and how you're doing it, a typical DAW will consume RAM, especially if you're not utilizing shared buses/track stacking/etc. That particular model maxes out at 8gb and if you haven't already done so, I definitely recommend maxing her out. I'm definitely an expert on that particular Macbook as mine has been a workhorse for years now. If you have any questions about it or recording on it, you are more than welcome to PM me

I'm generally a pretty cynical person, but every once in awhile I'm nearly brought to tears at just how amazing people can be. I'm super excited to make an X-Mas card!
-
Agreed. I still read Extremely Loud once a year though

With that said, I need a new running back and I'm not thinking looking in the direction of a third string Seahawk
