You're literally complaining that everyone who wants a copy will be able to get one. If you actually want it to own it and not sell it for triple the price on Discogs, why do you care how many copies get pressed?

I’m not complaining about everyone getting a copy. My initial comment was on how I thought it was lame that ETR was “unable to give the pressing information on this release” when it seems like every other record they sell  has a pressing quantity. Hearing about all the stories involving Ross over the years made that part seem weird and shady to me. Again, I don’t think it’s wrong to want to know pressing numbers, or at the least what this initial pressing quantity is going to be.

"For those who have been asking on social media, we are unable to give the pressing information on this release, but if and when we repress this title, they will be available in the same color variants shown above. Please note that these are not mock-ups, they are actual records. Every record is unique and no two will look the same, so please be mindful of that before purchasing."

So lame. Withholding the pressing quantity when every other release you do has the numbers. There’s no way the label said “oh by the way, you can’t let anyone know how many records you are pressing”… as collectors, that’s information you’re looking for when purchasing, and is part of the intake hype/excitement - at least for me.

His motivation isn’t to collect records, just collect money.

So, as it is spinefarm, it's safe to assume we can expect  overpriced, "endless" black variant like the last 2, right?

Also the songs are soooo forced. This band seems to heading nowhere with the 3rd album in a row...

that’s crazy talk. white bat was a huge banger minus the vocal repeating part in resistor resist her. still, 10/10. I’ll die on that hill.

  4. daaaaaaaaang my copy of the first pressing just showed up today out of nowhere. no shipping confirmation or anything. it came with a free slip mat with the skeleton head print on it. at least there was something extra I didn’t expect, that was a cool surprise. haven’t spun it yet, but everything looks good.

chorus feels about right but there's some very shoddy/obvious pitchtuning  on the verses that just kinda mutes the timbre of his voice, which imo was one of the band's selling points. reminds me of when Further Seems Forever did Penny Black and Chris' voice was kind of unrecognizable due to production choices

yeah, there is definitely autotune on his voice. they didn't utilize it back in the day, so that is why it is sounding different. the penny black record is a perfect example - regardless, I do dig the song as a whole and am looking forward to hearing more!
