This record is a huge change in the right direction for these dudes. I got my purple copy in today but I ordered the orange as well and haven't gotten that one so I guess it will come later (I ordered these separately since one sold out before the other.) I honestly never listened to "The Fire." I am a huge SF fan but for some reason I never picked it up and listened. Silverstein was the same way, after "Arrivals and Departures" I didn't listen or buy any new material until "This Is How The Wind Shifts" came out.

Sorry to hear about the ear I hope you figure it out but I gotta be the kidney stone guy in this thread. My senior year in high school I was playing varsity basketball and started getting extremely bad back aches after games and practices and come to find out I had kidney stones. After initially finding out the problem I went on to having 9 kidney stone occurrences in a matter of 2 years! It was awful and the worst pain I've ever felt. Just last August I had a work accident and got pinned between a trailer and a 4 inch thick metal pipe that was being used as a gate and I was in the hospital for a week and a half with a lacerated spleen. That was pretty painful too!

Oh yeah and one night I was walking to my car that was in a parking garage and watched this yellow Lamborghini drive out of the players garage and these two dudes were standing on the corner and flagged the car down and ended up getting a little joyride. Turned out to be Shawm Marion! After he dropped them back off the two guys were just standing there like "wtf.."

When I lived in Dallas I worked at the American Airlines arena for a few years while attending college and got to meet some pretty cool athletes when All-Star weekend rolled around. Met Steve Nash, Cuttino Mobley, Dikembe Mutumbo, sold JJ Barea's grandparents a few jerseys, some hall of famer from the Yankees bought a jersey from me, Mark Derwin (the dad from The Secret Life of the American Teenager) talked to me for awhile, waited to meet Chris Webber after the live broadcast of the dunk contest (super great guy by the way!) I used to also sell merch with one of the Mavs dancers and we got to eat in this guys suite on a regular night and I got to meet some pretty cool people there. From what I understand he owned a small portion of the team with Mark Cuban and made some pretty important decisions for the organization. He would have all kinds of people in there. One night I talked to the founder of Blue energy drink for a good 20 min and he wanted to go get a drink after the game with him and a few ladies but I kindly refused since I was engaged at the time and didn't really want to screw that up. It was honestly a blast working there. My breaks were great, they'd let me watch the Mavs games and Stars hockey games right on the floor. Almost met Mike Madono but didn't have the gonads to say hey..

3arl I think we found a mutual interest other than vinyl. Huge Nuggets fan right here and I'm so glad to see Carmelo get beat like this in his return to Denver! Was glad to see him go even though I think he is loaded with talent; I just could not see Denver winning a championship with him.

I know what you mean about the Two Door Cinema album! Left me wanting alot more from it. Hoping this Phoenix record is as good as the last, their albums before WAP just don't really interest me at all.

The last time I ordered through store envy I had the same problem with the true page. I emailed enjoy the ride records about it and he said that my order was confirmed and not to worry about it. This time I ordered I also got the true page and I'm not going to worry about it too much. I grabbed the bundle and the exclusive clear. I also just ordered the EVR copy.

I read somewhere that this is getting reissued for RSD2013. I could be totally wrong and it may be Yellow House. Don't quote me on it though.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but my wife and I were making a three day trip to New York for this show and to be awesome and take a spontaneous trip for the first time in our marriage (with a new 4 month old baby boy by the way) anyways, we had to fly from Texas to denver and grab a connecting flight to La Gaurdia in New York and be there by 4:30 and then get to the mercury lounge. We have a family friend that was going to watch our son at our hotel room but unfortunately we missed our flight from Denver to New York and won't be making it I'm basically just posting this to see if someone would mind picking me up some merch if they are selling anything.
