I would offer my ltd copy but I honestly don't think I could ever let it go. DIIV is one of my favorite bands ever. I saw them open for Wild Nothing last September and talked to the guys in the band for about an hour afterwards. One of the more down-to-earth groups I've met. Cole and I were taking pictures of our nails that we painted, etc.

bought this today. pretty impressed not only by the music, but the quality of the vinyl and packaging itself. it's not too much and not too little. Also, there are three songs at most on each side which I kind of dig.

I got Second Stage Turbine Blade on white vinyl (courtesy of user bobbydrake33) and the second pressing of Sun Bronzed Greek Gods 10" on blue marble vinyl (/405) today in the mail. Totally satisfied.

You guys are great, thank you for not being jerks and for confirming my hunch that these dudes are indeed assholes.

If you're in Hampton Roads, VA, the FYE I work at in Town Center, Virginia Beach, will have some standard copies in. I know because I ordered them myself P.S. I feel shitty about working at a corporate type music store but whatever, the prices we sell vinyl for are pretty decent.

alright i'll make a serious confession... it doesn't seem like that big of a deal nowadays but i feel so weird when i get to know new people (like at my new job) because i'm gay.. like i feel like i'm not being myself. I don't feel comfortable having to explain myself because like I said, it shouldn't be a big deal. But these dudes I work with ask me questions and make statements about how they're sure i get the women and "oh do you think that girl is sexy?" and idk. I'm sort of just playing along for now. It doesn't help that they all make fun of my boss (who is obviously gay) constantly. I just don't know when I'm going to get to the point where I have to say something about it and then have to worry about everyone joking me behind my back and people acting differently towards me. It's all just very blah.

Last year I found a rainbow splatter copy of They Make Beer Commercials Like This by Minus The Bear SEALED for $9 at Generation Records in New York. Grabbed it so quick.

I own the Profile model, but I've had it since I was like 17. I've honestly just been too lazy/bad at saving to get a new turntable. I also pretty much don't know exactly what I'm looking for either since so many opinions come into play when you ask someone what they recommend.

I had to, I liked it that much.

Really trying to get up to D.C. next Sunday to see Ex Cops (Amalie Bruun from MINKS' new band) but I really don't want to go alone. Anyone else planning on hitting that show up?
