  4. Hey guys im looking to try and get my car fixed ($500-$600) so ive posted some Out Of Print, My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge vinyl on eBay. Ive got 2 that are ending in 2 days and after that ill be posting 6 more (I think that's how many are left) but my price will go up a couple bucks because USPS increased their fees. Its the lowest price that ive seen them on eBay/Amazon for sealed and never opened ones. I decided to sell them cheaper because I have a good number of them unlike the people trying to get $100+ for one. If your interested act fast. Like I said there will be more posted but they wont be as low as this. Of course if you want to purchase the lot and hold on to them and sell them later when the price goes up I could even make you a better deal on them. The listing can be found here. The things included with the vinyl are: Red Vinyl. (Never opened and never played) Handwritten "Helena" sheet music. MCR Gun/band logo stencil. MCR sticker.

  8. Release date is 5/13/2013 Import from the UK. New and never played double LP from Rise Above Records (vinyl color unknown). "CHURCH OF MISERY was founded by Tatsu Mikami (bass guitar) back in 1995. After the breakup of his leading thrash metal band SALEM, a band that had toured in the UK several times and received critical acclaim from metal fans and press alike. Tatsu decided to start his own solo project. He wanted to do something that reflected his other musical inspirations - doom metal and doom rock. Apart from metal and thrash, he was strongly influenced by doom bands like SAINT VITUS, BLACK SABBATH and became aware that his own riffs had started to include doom vibes. Also, he was very much into late 60s/early 70s heavy rock material like LEAF HOUND, NOVEMBER, MAY BLITZ, HIGH TIDE, GUN, BLUE OYSTER CULT and so on. It was natural for him to shift his musical direction from metal to a more rock-influenced style. Since then, Church of Misery have gained a cult reputation around the world, frequently touring in Europe/US and have shared the stage with famed and infamous western bands such as SAINT VITUS, CATHEDRAL, EYEHATEGOD, ELECTRIC WIZARD, ORANGE GOBLIN, FIREBIRD, THE GATES OF SLUMBER, DEATH ROW, ANGEL WITCH, etc. etc. Also, they have appeared in renowned metal/rock festivals in Europe/USA such as Roadburn (Holland), Hellfest (France), and Maryland Deathfest (USA) to date. Back with a brand new studio album, titled THE KINGDOM SCUM , Church of Misery are set to invade UK and European shores once to an ever growing fanbase of Sabbath worshipping serial killer obsessed fans. You have been warned!" TRACKLIST 1. B.T.K. (Dennis Rader) 2. Lambs to the Slaughter (Ian Brady/Myra Hindley) 3. Brother Bishop (Gary Heidnik) 4. Cranley Gardens (Dennis Andrew Nilsen) 5. One Blind Mice (Quatermass Cover) 6. All Hallow's Eve (John Linley Frazier) 7. Dusseldorf Monster (Peter Kurten) North American folks can pre-order here - http://lastrightsrecords.storenvy.com/products/1273073-church-of-misery-thy-kingdom-scum-vinyl-color-unknown-pre-order It will also be available at Rise Above Records of course.

  16. Tig Notaro's landmark set at Los Angeles' Largo Theater last year in which she discussed her cancer diagnosis (received earlier that very day). Available on pic disc out of 500 via Secretly Candian Distribution. http://www.scdistribution.com/music-shop.html?class=artist&artist=Tig Also up for pre-order @ Insound, Barnes & Noble or Amazon. For those that don't know the story, the day before this set was recorded Tig was diagnosed with cancer in both breasts. This news was the bookend to an agonizing year in which Tig spent weeks in the hospital battling an intestinal bacteria infection. A week after being released from the hospital, her mother unexpectedly died. Then, in the middle of it all, her relationship fell apart. Tig's 30 minute set is not much more than an open-mic set in that it's half scripted, raw and real. It's an insightful detailing of her assessing a horrible set of circumstances in a calm, clever and clear manner. "In 27 years doing this, I've seen a handful of truly great, masterful standup sets. One was Tig Notaro last night at Largo." -Louis C.K. This was available last year via Louis C.K.'s website for digital download. Louis wrote the following email about the recording: "Greetings to the people and parts of people that are reading this. Hi. This is Louis. I'm a comedian and you bought a thing from me. Well, I'm writing to tell You that there is a new thing you can buy on my website louisck.com. It's an audio standup set by not me but another comedian named Tig Notaro. Why am I selling someone else's comedy on my website? Well, Tig is a friend of mine and she is very funny. I love her voice on stage. One night I was performing at a club in LA called Largo. Tig was there. She was about to go on stage. I hadn't seen Tig in about a year and I said how are you? She replied "well I found out today that I have cancer in both breasts and that it has likely spread to my lymph nodes. My doctor says it looks real bad. ". She wasn't kidding. I said "uh. Jesus. Tig. Well. Do you... Have your family... Helping?". She said "well my mom was with me but a few weeks ago she fell down, hit her head and she died". She still wasn't kidding. Now, I'm pretty stupid to begin with, and I sure didn't know what to say now. I opened my mouth and this came out. "jeez, Tig. I. Really value you. Highly.". She said "I value you highly too, Louie.". Then she held up a wad of note-paper in her hand and said "I'm gonna talk about all of it on stage now. It's probably going to be a mess". I said "wow". And with that, she went on stage. I stood in the wings behind a leg of curtain, about 8 feet from her, and watched her tell a stunned audience "hi. I have cancer. Just found out today. I'm going to die soon". What followed was one of the greatest standup performances I ever saw. I can't really describe it but I was crying and laughing and listening like never in my life. Here was this small woman standing alone against death and simply reporting where her mind had been and what had happened and employing her gorgeously acute standup voice to her own death. The show was an amazing example of what comedy can be. A way to visit your worst fears and laugh at them. Tig took us to a scary place and made us laugh there. Not by distracting us from the terror but by looking right at it and just turning to us and saying "wow. Right?". She proved that everything is funny. And has to be. And she could only do this by giving us her own death as an example. So generous. After her set, I asked Mark Flanagan, the owner of Largo (great club, by the way) if he recorded the set. Largo is set up for excellent recordings. He said that he did. A few days later, I wrote Tig and asked her if I could release this set on my site. I wanted people to hear what I saw. What we all saw that night. She agreed. The show is on sale for the same 5 dollars I charge for my stuff. I'm only keeping 1. She gets the other 4. Tig has decided to give some of that to cancer research. Tig, by the way, has since undergone a double mastectomy. She is doing well. Her doctors say her chances of survival are excellent. So she went there and came back. Her report from the frontlines of life and death are here for you to... Enjoy."

  19. Cabin Fever Collective is a new record shop in Toronto Ontario. It is run by my wife and I, and the shop was born out of the fact that we were sick of working for other people and decided to follow our passion of vinyl and try as hard as we can to make it work. We have just launched our online store and there is a ton of RSD 2013 releases, new releases and back catalogue stuff on there. Here's the link... cabinfevercollective.com As an independent store we rely on people spreading the word about us. You can find us on twitter @cabinfeverco and if you're so inclined, give our facebook page a "like".. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check us out! CFC

  22. I am looking to complete my Screeching Weasel collection. I am only missing Happy Horny Gay Sassy 7''. I am looking to either buy it or to trade for it. I have alot of vinyl and might have some things you are looking for. Let me know and hopefully we can work out a deal. If you know where I can possibly get one any help is very much appreciated!
  23. Got an email today saying that Sleeping at last is having a 20% off everything in their online store. You can currently get the LPs for "Keep No Score" and "Storyboards" for $37.60 total with free shipping. Not a bad deal! If you're at all interested in this band and don't have these yet, I'd jump on this if I were you! www.sleepingatlast.bigcartel.com Discount code is "OOZMAKAPA"
  24. Hey everyone. I'm looking to finish my Blink collection, and it requires these two gems. Anyone have one? I'm willing to negotiate. No Ebay prices please! Lol. Obviously I'm not looking for anything in less-than great condition. Thanks! *******Should have added in the title that the Cheshire Cat vinyl I'm looking for is the "Red-Eye" edition (Original 1996 release). Thanks!
  25. Good day gals and gents! Been a long time since I posted on the newer boards here, and even longer from the older boards. But I am slowly going to be looking to purge my collection I have amassed over a couple years as I attempt to fund for a car and school loans. That said, before I list what I have, I want to leave some credible sites where I have more feedback - Cheapassgamer - http://www.cheapassgamer.com/user/347866-3gsid/ That said, here is a list of what I have for sale now - (I could also potentially trade for Video Games if you have any) (I'll slowly be adding more as I get more mailers in) 7" Bayside/STD/IATA/Transit Split (Green) Fun + Panic At The Disco - Cmon (Orange Tiger) Fun - We Are Young Pic Disc (/1000) 12" I Am The Avalanche - Self Titled (Red, /100) Paramore - All We Know Is Falling (Red, /1500) Paramore - Riot (White, /1500) I have quite a bit more, but I currently limited mailer wise. Right now, I am down to - 7" Mailers - 2 12" Mailers - 3 I have a decent understanding of what they are worth, but I want to try to sell to fellow collectors here before I would send them off to Ebay. All that said, prices aren't set for now, so just shoot some offers if interested, or just express interest and we can discuss. Thanks!
