Bladew1ll1s1sdead
I got a copy of this and It's covered in a gritty substance. So mad about it. It's even in the inner sleeve.
cwhitmuzik
So excited to see them tonight and get a copy.
cartmanlit3
Got this in the mail today. Really happy with this release. Got the olive/cream haze and its more of an olive haze on a cream lp. It's awesome these guys are from where I live too so i never have to wait long to see them live.
cwhitmuzik
I got the haze too. Wanted the half and half because less dust particles everywhere but that's all the had at the show.
uglyorgan
Just wanted to chime in and say that my Olive/Cream haze arrived yesterday also covered in a grime. Like a fine grit. Its inside the inner sleeve and on the record. I played side A and there was some noise in quiet parts but it seemed to play fine.
dantheriver
Just clean it and get a new inner sleeve. That's a common side effect of haze records.

TheWindBlower
Just clean it and get a new inner sleeve. That's a common side effect of haze records. Is it really? Do you have any idea how that happens? That's kind of interesting that it only happens to haze variants. Mine also had this gritty substance on it. Played fine though.

That's really strange. Thanks for that tidbit of info though.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
I'm gonna wipe mine off with a cloth and test spin it.
cwhitmuzik
Yeah, I'm going to do something similar. I knew that would happen, hence why I wanted the other variant, but I didn't want to not buy one at the show for cheap. Haze picture coming sooon. cwhitmuzik
Merch table picture since I'm too lazy to take my own but you can see what it's like. It turned out very well (other than you know the whole haze issue). YouLoveHisWife
artlovesyou
I had a small insert explaining it at one point, but don't know where it is. Just something to do with the manufacturing process. PVC dust is used to achieve the haze variant rather than the traditionally used chips or pellets. I can't imagine how much dust gets all over the factory and machinery. Sounds like a pain to clean up.

Bladew1ll1s1sdead
do you not even have a brush? really worth the 25 bucks. mine doesn't sound terrible anymoreNo brush. No record stores near me, too lazy to order one online. This and the Aaron West album are unplayable as of right now due to that.
smeepo
You should probably just invest in a brush. I use this: http://www.amazon.com/RCA-RD-1006-Discwasher-Record-System/dp/B000KMZKTO I don't really get the negative reviews on this. It works great for me.
