goraiders
Float debuted at #4 on the billboard charts?? That is so totally insane. For a comparsion the new Gnarls Barkley debuted at 12.
AlexH.
Didn't this happen in March? Also, Float < their other albums.
flood
FM is huge. to put it in perspective my dad and all his friends own all of their albums... they've gone way past the punk scene and are now in the jukeboxes of like every irish bar in america
Guest scriptedrain
I knew they were big, but didn't realize they were THAT big.
mcm1610
I've listened to my copy of Float maybe twice since I got it. It hasn't clicked or anything.
martyk36
A bunch of older (late thirtys/early 40's) people that I work with went to see the Dropkick Murphys about a month ago, I didnt' even know they were going until they had gotten back. It's weird the audiences these irish-ish punk/alt bands are reaching.
Guest baseball
I've listened to my copy of Float maybe twice since I got it. It hasn't clicked or anything. Yeah, it's definitely their weakest album. I like the last track though.
dante3000
I didn't even bother buying it. I like Flogging Molly and have seen them live a ton of times but this album just didn't have anything for me. Additionally, I was at a bar with an electronic jukebox that actually had an add for the album on the screen. Pretty heavily marketed album...Even if it wasn't my taste. skumbucket
they're big enough that they had songs in that chick flick from a couple of months ago with that dude from 300 in it..
andrew13
also, remeber #4 isn't that big anymore. i'd guess it probably means 40,000-50,000 sold. a lot of punk bands on indy labels debut high any more. DKM, Against Me on FAT, NOFX, Bright Eyes double cd, ect.
