Tracking package went past destination?

Recommended Posts

So I bought a cassette duplicator last week, and they just included the tracking number, and it was sent from San Diago, California, and I live in southern Orange County, probably about 50 miles north of where it was shipped from. I just checked tracking and it's now in Vernon? 5 miles south of Los Angeles, which is about 50 miles north of ME. Is it just plain inefficiency on USPS's part?

San Diago, CA is actually 75 miles north of Orange County and often gets confused with San Diego, CA.
