Baulta is really impressive local post-rock band and they are releasing their latest LP "Any Fool Can Regret Yesterday" on vinyl (limited to 300) exclusively through Record Shop X. The shipping expenses are brutal, though.

check 'em out: http://baulta.bandcamp.com

The album is also available on Spotify.

Dang, I am really digging this. It would cost me about $56 for the vinyl though :( so yeah. I'll stick to Spotify on this one...

How the hell have I not bought this yet? I have seen the 7" for years and always forget about it. Packaging looks amazing and the music is right down my alley these days. Going to pick up both soon.

The description from their bandcamp hurts my head. It's like they ran it through Google translate a couple times before posting it.

"Lastly, the package in which our random colored 7" (7" refers to the diameter of the 7" that is on random colors of vinyl) vinyl record is placed is made out of wood and our band name (our band is named Jack Buck which is why Jack Buck is carved into the front of our wooden case) is carved in it and also the name of the album (our 7" vinyl record is in a wood package that contains our 7" is of a random color) which makes it especially easy to identify because it has our name on it and is made of wood. "

Thank you for the reminder. I've been meaning to snag this, and finally grabbed both this morning. That packaging is too cool!

Yeah. they're a funny group of guys.  My package had a short note with the salutation "HAIL SATAN" and a small drawing of a TIE Fighter (from Star Wars).  They're pretty awesome.

  • 4 weeks later...

The Midnight's (a collaboration between American singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and Danish producer iAmData) Days of Thunder EP is great. Definitely check it out if you're a fan of '80s synth-pop/dream-wave.

EDIT: I guess this doesn't technically belong in this thread since there isn't a vinyl release. Still good music though.
