I can't buy a book if it has writing or highlighting in it, it drives me crazy. I never fold corners or any of that, but if a book is an awkward size I end up folding the cover back, but its more of a curve, I don't bend it right at the binding. If that makes any sense. I recently took out The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway from my school library. For the first couple chapters I read the notes, but they were god awful. The one character said the word "Kyke" and with an arrow to kyke it said "racism" NO SHIT?!?!?! REALLA?Y?!?! It drove me crazy how stupid that person must be.
