gmoney
Providing the ideal entry point for neophytes and an intoxicating aural high for the faithful, Damien Jurado's new opus extends the hot streak ignited by 2012's Maraqopa and its 2014 follow-up Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son. Cut once again with label mate and super producer Richard Swift at the latter's National Freedom recording facility in rural Oregon, Visions of Us On The Land completes the tale of an individual who has had to disappear from society in order to discover some universal truths. 1. toomanyrecords
FUCK YES. Love me some Jurado. No limited means I'll be picking this one up at amoeba.
ksuwdboots
There is a Deluxe 3xLP version of this, no idea if it's limited or not. The 3rd LP is called "Far Out To Where We Were Then" - a demos LP on white vinyl, including demo versions of songs from the album as well as 2 unreleased tracks. It's only a couple bucks more ($23.00 plus shipping from SC) than the Standard 2xLP version: http://www.scdistribution.com/damienjurado/
gmoney
Nice. I hate their shipping costs though.

Chuck Shivers
I'm gonna wait to see if Bullmoose can do better on that deluxe.
streetwaves
Yeah---$9.80 shipping within the US?! That's obscene.
zachblows
I guess it depends on location. Even 7 is nuts
ryantark
Amoeba listed these today. Don't forget about vinyl10 $27 Deluxe http://www.amoeba.com/visions-of-us-on-the-land-deluxe-edition-lp-damien-jurado/albums/3788535/ $20 Standard http://www.amoeba.com/visions-of-us-on-the-land-lp-damien-jurado/albums/3788531/
simple_torture
I'm down with this release, but will wait to order. I assume that 3xLP edition is limited, like the 2xLP edition of Brothers and Sisters... and the version with the 7''s of the record that came before it. Not rushing to grab demos, though. somethingvinyl
somethingvinyl
I want this but I'll wait. As simple_tourture said, I don't need an extra disc of demos.
dreamover
$24.98 shipped for the deluxe from amoeba with 'vinyl10' code is not bad. I've loved his last two record, but if the demos are acoustic, that'd be a real nice companion. Stoked either way. Also, here's a photo of the limited if you haven't seen it. Tom Servo
I ordered the deluxe through Bullmoose at $27.97 and free shipping (all orders over $25). That makes it only a few dollars more than the standard 2LP when you figure in shipping cost. Sort of a no-brainer there. Plus, I like that Bullmoose doesn't immediately charge your account, a la Amazon.

briculla05
Album delivers. Not too many artists messing with his catalog in the last 20 years.
