geezfools
when you do find something you're looking for, prepare to pay out the ass
devilstrombone
I am originally from NM. What part are you from. and about your question, I usually just look for a particular band and see if they have vinyl which they usually do.
dietrootbeer
when you do find something you're looking for, prepare to pay out the ass this is very untrue. theres just as many steals on ebay as there are over inflated ones. ive got so many good 7"s off ebay for .
vinyljunkie
the only way you are gonna pay out the ass is if you buy some overhyped recent release. or if you are buying a classic album that is well worth, and well known to be expensive. otherwise with a little patience, and good taste, you can find TONS of good steals. Guest vito
i've never paid more than $45 on ebay for a record. and those were for records that i really, really wanted. i also consider them a steal.

Snaggle Von Swift
i've gotten 1 or 2 'steals' off eBay, and a lot of other records at very fair prices.
controlthebleeding
yea, i've gotten tons of ebay steals for .99 cents and while i have paid over $50 for one single 7" it was something i really wanted and i don't regret it in the least. with patience and hitting up stuff at the right time, you can find a ton of bargains. EVERYTHING comes up at some point on ebay. dont go overboard spending big big bucks if you cant afford it, coz big chances are, you will see it again. maybe tomorrow, maybe next year, but it WILL come up again - no matter how rare its supposed to be. Guest vito
a cd i won last week just sold for $8 less today. i'm kind of mad but also not, i've seen it go for $80 before so $24 is still a good deal to me. when records i'm watching go above the $50, it makes me sad.
