I'm back and wanted to say hello to all of the old friends and all of the new cats I've seen digging around the VC message boards. Even in my absence, I've always been fond of VC as a community, as a great place to go and interact with good people about records, sports, beer,...whatever, really. I've made lifelong friendships here, and have kept in touch w/ 5-6 people I've met here over the years via social media, and it's great to see that many of them are still posting. Apologies for starting a brand new thread, I just wanted to say hello again and hope to see/hear from more of you in the coming weeks/months. In my absence, I've become quite fond of funk/soul/rare groove LP's and 45's. I don't suppose anyone shares the same affinity? If so, I'm considering starting a thread to serve as discussion for these records, unless of course, one already exists. I've come to know a few people in this community, and their wealth of knowledge about this kind of music is INSANE..
