Traded the second round pick they got from the Canucks and a 7th. So basically it was Bernier for Rivet and a 3rd. Great trade. They got the veteren D-man they needed. andrew13 Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 Janne Pesonen has supposedly signed with the pens. #1 scorer in the Finnish elite leagues, and a left winger. i think the pens should tank this year for #1. haha. then again we would be super cap screwed after that move. may not loose many games though for the next 3 years. but i wouldn't be opposed to trading geno for #1 overall too plus a second rounder next season.
