A quick update about Gaslight Anthem/Lawrence Arms

Today is going to be the busiest day in Vinyl Collective's history. As many of you know we are about to post pre-orders for Gaslight Anthem's upcoming album, The 59 Sound, as well as the Lawrence Arms deluxe set. Since my post on Monday, a few things have changed. Eddie at Side One has been so kind as to allow us to sell copies of the Black vinyl for the 59 sound along with the Vinyl Collective exclusive color, White. And we also will be selling copies of the Lawrence Arms' "Cocktails and Dreams" separately from the deluxe set. The thing to know though is that the album will be available on two colors (500 on red/orange marble and 500 on white/black marble). The red/orange marble will be available as part of the Lawrence Arms deluxe set. The black/white marble will be purchasable separately.

I know that some of you are purchasing these records for a friend who could not be around for the pre-order, but I really want to suggest that some of you don't buy a bunch of copies to dump on Ebay. I really hope that everyone who wants a copy, gets one at a reasonable price and not crazy prices on Ebay.

Good luck friends. I am super excited to be involved with both releases. I love both bands and have super respect for both labels (Side One Dummy and Asian Man)

they all arrived fucked up (when customs opened them to inspect, they apparently did a really shitty job repacking, so all of the sleeves and such got fucked up)

they're all being reprinted here in the US and once Virgil gets them in he will ship em.

No Idea grey has more chunk to it, and often has a purple hue to it.
