gileadbot
Hey folks, pre-orders this sorta-new THOU 12" & sort-new Rocky Votolato 10" are up now... "The Retaliation of the Immutable Force of Nature" takes the two tracks from "Tyrant" that will not appear on the Southern Lord re-issue of said album on vinyl, and puts them a side a piece at 45 rpm! Limited to 500 copies on clear dark red vinyl. "What Blood..." shows Thou in their darkest and most abrasive, riffs so slow and chunky you could bludgeon a zombie to death with them. The B-side, "Acceptance," is a polar opposite of the A. An Instrumental track showcasing the true dynamic qualities of THOU! Melodic swooping guitar parts, thickly layered post-something-or-other composition. Shit rules, for real. ================ Rocky Votolato lives through his music. Whether it be his humble beginnings in the criminally under-rated Seattle rock band Waxwing, to his blossoming career as a solo songwriter, Rocky has never ceased to pour his soul into every song he writes. "A Brief History" is some of his earliest solo recordings, available on vinyl for the very first time. 1st pressing is 1000 copies on 2 different colors. Records are scheduled to be here end of the month!! http://www.gileadmedia.net/store

deadformat
Because all records sound the same regardless of color!
jacobe
Because all records sound the same regardless of color! True, but they are pressed on various colors for collector reasons and as collectors people are bound to wonder on the numbers, if it was purely "just about the music" there would be one continuous pressing on one color.
