An announcement of test pressing winners has been long overdue. My apologies. It would be my wish to announce a winner every Tuesday and have Test Pressing Tuesdays, but lately each week blows by and before you know it, it is Thursday. Maybe one day, but until that arrives, it will just be when I find the time. Congrats to all of you winners. There were some really great test pressings. Don't get discouraged if you have yet to win, there are plenty of new opportunities.

I wanted to add that as you see that there is an Every Time I Die "Last Night In Town" test pressing, yes, it is true that as of early next week, we will finally have copies of Last Night In Town in. Fuckin eh!

Take a look at the recently updated test pressings contest page. There are some truly bad ass test pressings that can be won including 2 Hold Steady test pressings, 2 of each of the upcoming Victory releases, Teenage Bottlerocket/Broadway Calls split, Ninja Gun, Matt & Kim, and more. Good luck.

any of you programmers out there, here is something that I would love to be able to do. when it comes time to post a new test pressing winner, how rad would it be if we could have an animated wheel that had all of the contestants names in it and was spun and the winner would be announced live. I don't think that this is really possible, but that would be super cool.

This wouldn't be THAT hard.

note: I would program it to pick my name once every 5 turns though.

I know how to use excel's random number generator to randomly pick a name. I couldn't draw a good image of the wheel to repeat over and over until it stops and I'm not sure if I could link it back to excel through visual basic.

I think I could give it a go but it would take forever to stumble through the code.
