desensitizedbyu
I buy tapes at my HPB if they have some I like. They're always a buck, and I've gotten some Local H, some NOFX, a Bowie one, an Offspring one, and some others. Not actively collect, but I only have a tape player in my car, and when I get sick of my iPod, I put them in. I also found an Against Me! tape there once too. I have some Deicide and Metallica cassettes still if you're interested. Which deicice? I started buying tapes back in '94. Ive over 400+. mostly 90's shit. i know i have Mouthpiece what was said (i have the vinyl) and Insteds bonds of friendship. You would be suprised how much cassingles go for on ebay. i sold a mindless self indulgence tape for $40 last year. Got it @ goodwill for a quarter. Also bought a rare Assuck(born backwords) cassette @ a flea market for $1. the last one i saw on ebay sold for $100.

adamlikesmusic
I have a pretty healthy cassette tape collection. Aside from most of NOFX's releases, I also have an H2O demo tape, as well as a Big D & The Kids Table demo tape. I mostly just have punk stuff, with a few random ones thrown in. (Dread Zeppelin, etc.)
william
wouldn't really say i 'collect' cassettes but a lot of the noise i buy is only released on cassette and in limited editions..
ohiopride
i'm glad to see i am not the only one that likes this format. the last time i checked i had 525 cassettes. i started collecting them in middle school. i also worked at a record store for a while and since this format was in no demand, they let me take whatever i wanted for free. i am going to post a new pic of my collection soon and i will include them

supchillinyou
I'm tossing around the idea of a cassette release later this year. Would most of you be down for buying a cassette if it was a band you liked, and a limited edition release w/ cool package, etc.?
