sgoodcore
#28 coming this year sammy! Probably, which makes me believe, like I've said before, the MLB needs an overhaul.

MattyIceyo
That bottom 9th was the spark the Sox need. I expect them to thrive off that victory last nite
flood
needs a salary cap moreso needs a salary floor yeah the combo of nick johnson and nick swisher in that lineup are BRUTAL if you're an opposing pitcher... both dudes take so many pitches, i've been watching opponents pitch counts.. and the yanks are knocking dudes out in like the 3-4 inning on pitches alone
sgoodcore
needs a salary cap moreso needs a salary floor Says the dude who roots for the team with the payroll of 8-10 third world countries, combined. MLB needs a hard-cap and a almost inevitably every cap I've seen comes with a floor for spending.
travis
Id just like to say Matsui is my new favorite Angel haha. Ive got a new respect for that guy after watching him play every day. Dude can just flat out hit. I think having him and Abreu is really going to help some of the young hitters. Not missing Vlad at all this year. Ex-Yanks together again <3333 but yeah Matsui has been a monster for the Angels. Vlad looked ok in a ranger suit last nite against the Sox, nothing new though
flood
Matsui is incredible. i'm glad he's still doing so well.... we got lucky that granderson is doing so well. Oh yeah .. maybe if fans supported their teams they'd have more cash to spend... Last night's A's Yanks game.... two of the best records in all of baseball ... and 19K paid attendance? thats fucking pathetic. Hell on the broadcast i could hear the yankees fans cheering over the A's fans.
MattyIceyo
I like how its cheaper for most people to see the Sox play in: Baltimore, Toronto, Tampa, Oakland, then it is for people to get tickets up here. They cram the people in nightly though so who am I to say. Flood tryin to get to yankee stadium in July, were tickets easy enough to score? forgeagain
Cubs move Zambrano to the bullpen effective Friday. Complete face-palm in 3....2..... http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/04/cubs-move-carlos-zambrano-to-bullpen.html
311thrice
Rangers make me sick. There are so many games that they should have won but closing pitching blows it. Neftali Feliz needs to be the permanent closer and we need to throw Francisco to the curb.
dynamitekid
Nice to see Fuentes back and just in time too!

Our announcer, Josh Lewin, said " People in those seats out there don't get homerun balls very often" lol. This series I've been especially upset because we've had big leads and have blown it both games. This is the first time since 2008 that Boston had back-to-back walk off wins. One thing I CAN say for last night is that it was an exciting game.
travis
Nice to see Fuentes back and just in time too! He wastes no time in completely fucking up the winning streak the Halos had put together. I hate that guy. I wish they would just release him. He should be nothing more than a left handed specialist. Come in to get 1 guy then get the fuck out of the game. I could see if they didnt have any other options but they have 2 guys who can hit upper 90's and have real closer type stuff. Rodney has been great so far. At least its nice to see their starting pitching doing really well lately tho.
forgeagain
Nobody else wants to talk about how retarded it is that Carlos Zambrano is now a relief pitcher for a team with Carlos Silva AND Tom Gorzelanney in the rotation?

flood
Hughes made the A's his bitches last night... sucks he lost out on a no hitter because of a dumb luck comebacker. Although its super awesome to see him finally turning into the pitcher they've been hyping to be for years
MattyIceyo
One thing I CAN say for last night is that it was an exciting game. Not as exciting as that Bruins game, but that is for another board. I am going tonite. Not excited to see Buchholz at all, I wish they would trade him or whatever. Not hitter, GREAT good job. Pitch average. But who am I to say, no one in the rotation has been legit as of yet this year.
forgeagain
That move isn't surprising? It's downright insane. I can't think of a more insane move made by any major league baseball team in my lifetime. I know the Cubs are a fucking joke, but come on, that's nuts.
