adamlikesmusic
Here's my team. I was #1 overall, but shoddy internet screwed me and caused me to auto pick a few times (which, since it's a snake draft, meant 2 auto picks in a row instead of just 1...), so I picked a couple positions in a different order than I'd have liked to, as well as a couple players I really didn't want on my team. Had some bad experiences in past drafts with 1st round RBs, so I just didn't have it in me to pull the trigger on another RB in the first round. ** (1) Team Pup N' Suds - Aaron Rodgers QB ** (24) Team Pup N' Suds - DeMarco Murray RB ** (25) Team Pup N' Suds - Jimmy Graham TE ** (48) Team Pup N' Suds - Darren Sproles RB ** (49) Team Pup N' Suds - Brandon Marshall WR ** (72) Team Pup N' Suds - Jeremy Maclin WR ** (73) Team Pup N' Suds - Steve Johnson WR ** (96) Team Pup N' Suds - Torrey Smith WR ** (97) Team Pup N' Suds - Kevin Smith RB ** (120) Team Pup N' Suds - Justin Blackmon WR ** (121) Team Pup N' Suds - LeGarrette Blount RB ** (144) Team Pup N' Suds - James Starks RB ** (145) Team Pup N' Suds - Leonard Hankerson WR ** (168) Team Pup N' Suds - Greg Little WR ** (169) Team Pup N' Suds - Lions D/ST D/ST ** (192) Team Pup N' Suds - Shayne Graham K Not too concerned about D/K, since I tend to play those week by week off the waiver wire, so I just picked up 2 that looked good for week 1 matchups. Already planning on dropping Hankerson (who the fuck is this guy?) and picking up Leon Washington as soon as the waivers become available. No PPR, no keepers, 12 man, essentially standard scoring other than 6pt passing TDs. Sort of related, but anybody used the Football Guys automated draft rater? Gives you a surprisingly detailed rating of your fantasy team based on the roster and rules you give it. nivek87
damn. i really like your team. blackmon and torrey smith as back ups is incredible. one if not both will be starters on your team in a couple weeks. PUT IT ON THE BOARD!
thebiglebowski
i grabbed tony g 8th round, and backs were real light by the time i got jacobs. figured if gore goes down, ive got his immediate fill-in. im still not sold on blount, and ill probably end up putting keller in his place anyway. Pretty confident it would be Hunter. He is a much more complete back. Jacobs is only drafted higher than Hunter because he is a name. thebiglebowski
Adam, your team looks awesome but I suspect something goofy when Brandon Marshall drops to pick 49. He went somewhere in the 20s for a mine. Seems like a lot of your picks are well later than what I believe is there ADP. You just play in a league of Tards or something. First effing game tonight! Wish I had a giant or cowboy.
kgry
I wound up pretty stout at WR but I'm hurting at RB. QB - Brees RB - Fred Jackson RB - Kevin Smith WR - Fitzgerald WR - Miles Austin WR - AJ Green TE - Fred Davis D - Jets K - Mason Crosby Bench Marques Colston BenJarvus Green-Ellis Tebow - I actually picked him up a day after the draft. Figured it's no risk for now. I had him last year and he put up decent points just rushing alone.
nivek87
I wound up pretty stout at WR but I'm hurting at RB. Me too. I'm hoping QBs continue to throw as many yards as last year and that their number 1's are their biggest benefits of it.

If you only drafted 12 players, you should be able to do much better than Tebow off the wire. In a 12 team league with 16 players rostered, yeah, he's a decent flier. There has to be better guys out there than that. I don't think you are THAT bad at RB. Fred Jackson is either a low #1 or great #2 running back, the law firm and Kevin Smith will produce, especially if you play the matchups. Not your strength but for being your teams weakness, not bad at all.
MattyIceyo
Need advice. For my flex I have Randy Moss, David Wilson, Shonn Greene. Its not a ppr league. Suggestions?
mcm1610
I got drunk and missed my e-draft (it's a scattered league because we're all over the country after college). I got auto-drafted by Yahoo. QB Matt Stafford WR Jordy Nelson WR Brandon Lloyd WR Dez Bryant RB Darren McFadden RB Peyton Hillis TE Tony Gonzalez W/R (WR) Denarius Moore K Jason Hanson D Green Bay Bench: C.J. Spiller (Buf - RB) Brent Celek (Phi - TE) Josh Freeman (TB - QB) Randy Moss (SF - WR) LeGarrette Blount (TB - RB)

I'll most likely drop him when Brees has his bye. My thought was if Sanchez blows it, Tebow starts and if a miracle happens and he throws well, I could use him as trade bait. Big if. thebiglebowski
idk if I should start crabtree. Also don't know if I should start Pierre Thomas Malcom Floyd. For sure. Vincent Brown out, Meachem just getting started there and he's not THAT great. Vincent Jackson gone. Mathews likely out. Plenty of offense to be shared between Gates/Floyd/Meachem/Ronnie Brown. Oakland bottom 10 in pass defense last year. Pierre Thomas or Shonn Greene? I don't feel that strongly either way, but I'd roll with Greene. At least you can guarantee he is going to get some touches. Lots of backs in NO and they pass first.

thebiglebowski
Need advice. For my flex I have Randy Moss, David Wilson, Shonn Greene. Its not a ppr league. Suggestions? Tough one. Moss supposed to start. Wilson has had a great camp. Greene is steady but unspectacular. I guess I would play it this way -- if you are projected to win by more than a couple points, roll safe with Greene. If it is an even matchup, maybe go with Moss (floor is maybe 4 or 5 points, could get 15). If you are projected to lose by a lot, roll the dice on Wilson. Touches are a mystery but that guy might break a long one that wins your week for you. Could also have 5 touches for 20 yards. Wilson is the guy I think will score the most this year. nivek87
I'd go with Moss. Personally, I like the matchup against the packers and with him starting he is sure to be targeted. Even against the 49ers defense, I expect this to be a throwing shoot out, similar to the NFC Divisional game last year between the saints and 49ers. nivek87
Who do people have playing tonight? I've got Cruz in tonight. Last time they played, Cruz put up 178 yards and a TD, so hopefully he can get at this secondary again.

nivek87
eli in one league, dezzy in the other. feeling good about elis last 6 dallas matchups. just looked at the last 6 meetings. he really has torn up the cowboys d. so ideally, tonight we are looking for eli throwing the ball to cruz all night long. thebiglebowski
I wonder if Mo Claiborne is put on Cruz or Nicks? He has looked legit so far. Still a rookie but if you own Cruz you want him on Nicks. Pretty sure this game comes down to that Giants D-Line against the Cowboy's O-line. I'm betting the Giants minus 3.5 (no fantasy players in this game. Gotta have a reason to watch). 5,6,7+ sacks? Giants win. 3 or less and a few running lanes for Demarco to get 100 yards? Cowboys win.
littlebistro
idk if I should start crabtree. Also don't know if I should start Pierre Thomas Being a Bills fan it pains me to say this, but you gotta go with Greene week 1. The Bills run defense has been awful the past few years. littlebistro
Titus Young or Malcolm Floyd this week as my 3rd in PPR. I'm thinking Floyd for this week at least.
thebiglebowski
Yeah, Floyd over Young for the reasons I said above. I live in Detroit and I think the Titus love is a little overblown. He's a great flier but he's gotta do something in an actual game that matters to be a reliable fantasy starter.

Wish I had a giant or cowboy. Hahah, not tards, but a few of the people were definitely picking based on favorite players or big names. We're competitive, but I think quite a few of the people involved are casual NFL fans at best. It's a $20 league, so not a huge monetary investment or anything. 90 minutes until FOOTBALL!
