xfactor675
The latter 2 options are teribble. I really thought Brock could be a medium quality franchise qb...
texan4life
Glad the Texans are finally getting someone decent at QB.
thebiglebowski
He's pretty unproven. Could easily be this year's Matt Cassel or Matt Flynn.
thebiglebowski
I don't know about Marvin Jones. I would have rather they drafted a WR in 1st round and spent FA money on a better DT than Ngata or a LB.

himynameisShane
yes but that also ignores that Hoyer played more games. Hoyer - Played in 11 games, Started 9 Osweiler - Played in 8 games, Started 7 However, I've had a feeling for a while Osweiler wouldn't be as good as some people tried to hype him up to be
thebiglebowski
Or you could spin it to say Hoyer really isn't that bad. He definitely wasn't playing with as much talent as Brock was last year.
thebiglebowski
Mark Sanchez lol
thebiglebowski
Demarius Thomas might as well join Calvin Johnson and save himself the frustration
3arl
Mark Sanchez lol I'm assuming he'll be in more of a veteran backup position. I won't start to worry until all of the other free agent/tradeable QBs are off the table. Also, I'm shocked that Sanchez is only 29. It feels like he's been in the NFL way longer than that. I see this as more of a potential bridge player move than veterian backup. Honestly, there probably isn't anything much better than the ole butt fumbler left in free agency. The only one that immediately comes to mind is Fitzpatrick, outside of that he is arguably the best QB available. He is not that far removed from a decent run in Philly, and he should be surrounded with the best talent of his career. Obviously he's still Sanchez, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was starting week 1, and they spend a 1 or 2 at QB in the draft.
jhook
Looks like the Redskins are doing nothing so far, way to build on last year's sucess.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
of all the sports, the draft has a much larger impact on an NFL team than free agency does
jhook
of all the sports, the draft has a much larger impact on an NFL team than free agency does I know, it just worries me when a bunch of guys are let go, they are not going to draft a full front line, ya know? Valeriano
Chandler Jones traded to Arizona, weird. Just filled the spot with Chris Long. I really hate the Pats but they have made some good moves here, Got a 2nd and probable starter in Cooper, then the addition of Long. Potentially 3 starting players come week 1, at the very least contributors.
jhook
Eh,Chris Long has lost a step. 4 sacks the last 2 years.Cooper has been hurt and lost his job multiple times. The draft pick is a plus.

I don't disagree, however these are two past first round talents, and the Pats always seem to get more out of players than a lot of other teams. Definitely wasn't saying Long is equal to Jones, but he was the best DE available. Should be nice rotation guy.
