They were normally the top site when searching for vinyl that I was looking for. Needless to say, I was pretty f'ing late on all the vinyl I could've gotten dirt cheap on this site and now I'm kicking myself for it.

Oh well, I managed to find most of them through thorough looking. Glad I found this though.

I was searching for info on the Patria picture disc, a shellac picture disc of Adolf Hitler produced during the Nazi era and I found a thread here about the 80's repro which I have, 2 copies actually.

Cheers!

hahaha what? anyway, at different times i would google different records by different artists and it seemed like this board would come up pretty often. think the last thing i looked for that made me sign up was the minus the bear planet of ice record

I found it by googling for info about phono inputs. I bought a Stanton turntable to get into vinyl after buying a couple Queen and Bowie records at a closing-down local record store.

I used it for a bit... then stopped listening to vinyl for a while.

Now I want to get back into vinyl; around Thanksgiving I'm going to bring my 'table to my new place i moved into a couple months ago. My only problem is I think I need a preamp because I'm not going to be able to bring my old/current one which is a huge home theater amp.

The only "amp" I've got with me already is a Creek Audio headphone amp with of course on ground-wire input... Alone, that won't do for listening to my turntable, right? I need a pre-amp before that one?
