I have been talking to Chuck Ragan quite a bit lately ever since we started buying copies of his releases for Vinyl Collective and since he is the organizer for the Revival Tour which features our very own Tim Barry with Chuck, Ben Nichols plus a whole bunch of incredible guest acts.

Chuck is pressing up a compilation CD featuring tracks from Tim, Ben, and Chuck with the proceeds going to help out some of the many expenses involving the tour. When he told me this, I asked him if he was planning on putting out vinyl for this as well. He really wanted to but was really stretched out as far as funds went to get it into production. I told him that I would be really honored to offer a helping hand with the vinyl. He was into the idea, but we had to convince the cats at Side One who financed the Chuck Ragan recordings (from the Feast or Famine sessions). We struck a really unique joint venture whereby the bands on the Revival Tour get 500 copies, Side One gets 300 copies, leaving us 700 copies for sale on our site and to distributors. We just put the record into production so at least the first 2 weeks of dates on the Revival Tour will be devoid of this release.

The pressing info is as follows:

500 on brown vinyl w/ Kraft paper silkscreened jackets

1,000 on white vinyl w/ black paper silkscreened jackets

This will be the one and only pressing of this release.

fuck yeah! Tim Barry could shit in a bag and I'd buy it!

The new album is really incredible, it does take a few listens to get you though. And the Ben and Chuck songs on this record are great.

don't quote me, but I think the ben and the chuck songs are unreleased. The tim barry songs are both on "Manchester".
