xfedupx
So wish me luck, I need it, in getting all the variants. Save all the "why buy 5975874 versions of one record" stuff. It's my collection and my money (and my body, I do what I want!) This is what I got so far. First up, this is the dark red/Gray set This is the dark red/gray with the normal red/gray. You can see the difference is really big. Red/Plum Red/Purple Purple/White (the white is more a seafoam green now that I look at it in the light) Dark Green/White (Seafoam Green) Gray/Purple (The gray is more of an olive. Compared to the gray in the red/gray set, it's WAY different) Gray (Olive)/White (Seafoam Green) Dark Purple/Gray (Seafoam Green) Dark Green/Plum Purple/Purple Phew! Snaggle Von Swift
this release is seriously ridiculous. i give you credit for being able to stick with it. i really dislike when they have double lp's with two different colored records. is it even known yet if that's all the variations for this press? Thanks man...Tell me about it. I figure I'm this far in, I can't give up now ya know? I have no idea, I'm hoping someone can post if they have something not pictured. I know there was a Misc section in the pic Virgil posted, but not sure what that means exactly.

michael
Hahah.I'm happy with just my Mustard copy. Matches the artwork well. my thoughts exactly...that's all i really care about when it comes to color. otherwise i'll take black because that matches pretty much everything. sherlock
oof. that many variants should be illegal.
swank
I'm sort of bummed at them not being clear. I really dig clear records, and I'm a one-of-each kind of guy usually, so I figured I'd get the clear ones for Remains and leave it at that. These ones kind of just look like No Idea 18th pressings of something.
xipander
I dunno what mine are yet. I got one set coming in from VC, one from Aural Exploits that say's it's red, I dunno if it's double red or what. And I found a guy on eBay selling 2 copies listed as double clear. So I have no idea what those are either. I'll post pics whenever they get in.
danthemjfan23
how did you get all these? i e-mailed suburbanhomes and never got a response! i've spoken with you in the past about collecting alkaline trio stuff, especially test pressings. i'm in awe of your collection. xlovecolouredx
so, what's exactly pressing info of this ?
stranaspank
I'm going for a complete set too...eventually...this release turned into a major headche. Curious to see what I get, thanks for the pics!
rhythmgtr5
very impressive collection. Does anyone know how a pressing like this could happen? Did the label intentionally state "here are all the colors/combinations that we want" or did the plan just press them on whatever vinyl they had laying around? astromatt
Good work on the collecting. The dark green/plum releases look really nice.

From what I've read, it was the pressing plant that screwed up. It was supposed to be clear vinyl.
stranaspank
"Hmm...300 clear records to make today. Well, I'm just gonna go ahead and add some purple, grey, and green to the clear and everything should turn out exactly as everyone expected it to with absolutely no problems or misunderstandings." *starts whistling cheerfully*

sgoodcore
I still say Cobraside really screwed the pooch on this one as a fan the lack of information and the random mix colored stuff just annoys me to no end. Hence, I'm good with a few copies. This release in and of itself made me totally re-think variant collecting.
xxfesterxx
jhulud lets see a pic of the light blue
xipander
Yeah... I'm probably only going to try to get one of each color disc period instead of getting a red/green, red/white, red/plum, etc... seems much easier. That and there's no way to know people aren't mixing and matching them to sell on eBay or somewhere for a higher price. i.e. if a red/green only goes for $15, and a plum/white goes for $15, but a red/white goes for $75, you can bet people will be mixing them. : /
