daniel
This really sucks. Especially when it's in the same exact spots each time.
sherlock
this happens with 1/2 of my copies of gaslight's sink or swim at the beginning of the record. it's just kinda dissapointing the first time you hear it.
daniel
For people like me who buy 1 copy of any given record to listen to it, it's a huge disappointment.
jhulud
Or worse yet...as soon as you open it and the record is warped...now that's a bummer as well.
thomas
It sucks for sure, but it's vinyl and it happens so you can't be too bummed about it.
manicdogbert
why don't you return/exchange it from where you bought it?
daniel
I bought it from Interpunk. Will they do that?
mclz
there are a few records that this has happened to me before, it sucks when it happens. the 2 i can definitely remember is osker - treatment 5 and fifteen - hush, but the hush record was a pressing defect. melikecheese
that sucks, guess something happened at the pressing plant. The Thomas Function LP that was release earlier this year (and really kicks ass) had a similar issue. They pressed 500 on clear but the majority of them had skipping issues and were destroyed/returned.
xxmartinxx
Test presses... the labels really need to listen to them.
melvinscam
nofx - slatfats i have two copys, both skip in the same spots. putting a nickel / quarter on the needle dosn't help either. weak.
