mynameistom Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Shepard Fairey is so variable in the quality of his work as far as I'm concerned, sometimes I see his stuff and think 'god damn, that's cool as all hell, I MUST have one of those', and other times, (this one included) I just think 'meh'. I think he's got to the point where he's so prominent in the 'scene' that anything he does has people busting a nut and perhaps he's a little complacent as a result. The guy was Republican, and as much as I abhor the "values" of Republicans, that's pretty narrow minded to dismiss the man based on that. He arguably invented punk rock guitar playing and his band also created the genre. I think those things override him thinking that Reagan was a good president.
