travis
Yea, the Wizards should almost be kinda stoked on this if they can void his contract. I mean its a shitty situation for the NBA and Wizards in general but if they can dump his contract that would be really good for their future. sgoodcore
Baron Davis killed the Lakers, just killed them. Oh well, the team needs to learn to come out blazing, build a big lead, rest the big guys, and coast home.
travis
Baron Davis killed the Lakers, just killed them. Oh well, the team needs to learn to come out blazing, build a big lead, rest the big guys, and coast home. They just cant do that for some reason, you would think it would be easy for them. They play up for good teams and down for bad teams. Its been like that for years with them. I dont get it. They have had 30+ point leads in the 3rd qtr. this year and have had to bring the starters back in late int he game. Its pertty riduculous. The Lakers should have maybe 1 or 2 losses this season. sgoodcore
Well the bench is a whole other issue. No Walton hurts as does no Pau, since it means LO doesn't start. I would love for them to pick-up a better PG too. D-Fish, as great as he's been in the past, is just a shell of himself.
travis
Its always been like that, even with Pau and Walton healthy. Fisher definitely is not what he use to be, but thats expected as he's getting older. He's still great at running the offense and I would 100% want him in there with the game on the line. They seem to be prepping Farmar and Brown to fill that roll tho. They are both getting a ton more minutes than they use to. Love watching Shannon Brown play, he could erupt for a big flashy dunk at any time. Its hard to get too critical on the Lakers tho since they still have the best or one of the best records in the league (havent checked the standings in a few days). They get in a little slump and I get all pissed off at them but I still love 'em!
sgoodcore
Anyone pick up the Book of Basketball by Bill Simmons?
sgoodcore
Talk is the Lakers may move Bynum to bring in Chris Bosh. As much as I'd hate parting with Bynum, bringing in Bosh to play with Odom, Gasol, Kobe, and Artest would be absolutely insane.
kurtz
I would imagine they would give Bosh a contract extension immediately after a trade like that since he is going to be a free agent after this season. That would suck. I'm not a Laker hater, but I don't like them and I really don't want to see them winning everything for the next 4 or 5 years. sgoodcore
If they traded for him they could also offer him more and longer than any other team. The more I think about it, the more I like it.
travis
It would be awesome to have Bosh but I dunno about getting rid of Bynum. The guy is becoming one of the premier centers in the league very quickly and is still super young and is just getting better every game. I honestly wouldnt be upset if they traded for Bosh (as long as an extension was part of the deal) and I wouldnt be upset if they just kept Bynum. Either way, the Lakers are still in great shape. adammuzzy
kinda painful watching the celtics trying to rebound with their two tallest dudes out.
kurtz
Looks like this year's dunk contest is going to suck. Nate Robinson, Gerald Wallace and Shannon Brown are in it. And DeMar DeRozan and Eric Gordon will have a dunk off to get in. And of course, Lebron is being a huge pussy and backed out.
sgoodcore
Don't underestimate Shannon Brown, dude has MAJOR ups.
kurtz
I'm sure all those guys will do some okay dunks. The problem is I don't care about any of them. The casual NBA fan probably doesn't even know who any of them are. Usually we at least have one or two stars or well known players in the dunk contest. zac
Anyone watching the Grizzlies vs Suns game? I'm really excited about them being on a national game for once. The Grizzlies should make the playoffs this year.

However they are losing it recently.
