danthemjfan23 Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 seriously i'm so glad that game happened one day before election day and they only JUST found out about that "stat" because if they would have had an away game this week and last week would have been their last home game before the election, i'm not sure i would have been able to take it. i can't stand when they come up with ridiculous shit like that... if the redskins win their last home game before the presidential election, in a year when the incumbent isn't running, then the party changes in office except for two occasions, but those were on leap years and their final home games were each day games before daylight savings time, so really our stat still counts. right guys? right? I had professors talking about it in 2000 when Bush "won", saying as a joke that "The Redskins won, so he must really be the president".
