Under the Influence Vol 3 7" BOTH COLORS PRE-ORDER http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Store/Search.aspx?&Page=1&Sort=1&sku=sh103 We are excited to announce the third release of our Under the Influence series. The series finds bands we love recording songs that have influenced their song writing. The artwork is being done by the very talented Mitch Clem and Nation of Amanda who have been asked to make their own renditions of the album art that the song being covered originally appeared. For this third release, Mustard Plug are covering "Waiting Room" by Fugazi and Bomb the Music Industry! are covering "Gold Soundz” by Pavement. The 7"s will come with a coupon that will allow you to download the tracks as mp3s. The 7" will be pressed as an edition of 1,000 copies (300 on translucent light blue vinyl, 700 on Clear w/ Neon Green and Pink Splatter vinyl). The Under the Influence series will also be available at your favorite digital retailer the first week of December. You can listen to each band's cover at their respective myspace pages(MIGHT NOT BE UP JUST YET): http://www.myspace.com/mustardplug http://www.myspace.com/bombthemusicindustry

littlejonnyhormone
I'm on the fence. I LOVE Fake Problems, so I got that one, but these two... eh. I dunno. I feel like 15 bucks for two 7"s of bands I'm not huge on (except Ninja Gun, love em) isn't that great of a deal. Someone sway me.

Someone sway me. if you pick up one from each set, one day you can look back and say you have the complete set. I just think it is a great series considering the art, the idea, and the variety of bands. And if you like Ninja Gun, it needs to be part of your Ninja Gun collection.
