hickey
It's not bad. Yeah, they had a shit ton of it on vinyl when it went to grab the CD...not paying $20 for a record I haven't heard yet though.
damagdsole
i totally was thinking i had to buy this in order to keep my g'n'r complete but i got a burned copy of this from a co-worker and boy did i have a hard time getting through it. im planning on giving it another shot but so far i was not feeling it
altarsofradness
the first 2 tracks are not very good. that's just not what i signed on for back in '88 when i bought Appetite For Destruction. however, things get a lot better at track 3. all of the electronic crap is a little corny and the credits portion of the liner notes is completely absurd, but overall i can't say this is a bad record. it sounds huge. like they spent 15 years working on it. travis
I picked this up today when I went to Best Buy to get Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 1 & 2. The first song sounds like new Avenged Sevenfold. I only made it thru 4 songs and turned it off. Track 4 was fucking awful.

slinch
Maybe they recorded it right after "the spaghetti" an realized it was total crap, so they waited 15 years hoping people would lose their taste in music and would actually buy this. Guest noeffinidea
I don't think it's that bad at all. Corny? Yeah, definitely. But there is certainly more happening on these songs then on a lot of their shit, even if it does sound a bit cheesy. But overall, I don't think it's that bad. Certainly not a nearly 15 year wait good...but still decent.
altarsofradness
no matter what ended up on this record, there are still going to be people who say it sucks. that's unavoidable, especially when a) it's guns n roses and it took 15 years to release. mxv
That is NOT Guns N Roses, it is the Axl Rose Band. That GnR is even less authentic than that version of TSOL where Jack's brother in law stole the name and put out bad glam rock albums! Until they kiss and make up and at LEAST Axl, Duff, Slash and Izzy are in the band (they can use the second drummer instead of that junkie first one they got), then it's not Guns N Roses and they will not have a home in my record collection ever. Not even for free!
numanoid
It's not the train wreck I thought it would be, but it's not great either. I made it to song 11, and that was it. Even if it wasn't bad, it's more like a bar rock band than GNR. And it's not even GNR, it's Axl using the name. I want to like it, but I just don't.
