aarondanger Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 i just put out a vinyl version of a CD for my friends band. I approached a bigger distro about carrying copies of the vinyl. The distro already carry's both of the bands full lengths on CD, and i know for a fact that they sell well. they told me they would not take any of the records because they felt the band had No vinyl interest... virgil has always taken copies of any record i have put out even if it didnt have "vinyl interest", and i dont understand what the harm is in not taking copies of the record. thanks to everyone at VC for always being supportive and generally interested in records my friends and i are putting out. sorry about the rant.
