brammyg
fall out boy - FUCT at a local record store. so sad D: Funny, I was just about to reply with "Take This to Your Grave" when I read this. I remember hearing about when it came out - the different artwork and where to buy it - and wasn't into vinyl at the time (hell, didn't even know anything about it to be honest). I didn't even know Take This To Your Grave came out on vinyl. Man, that'd be one for the collection.
brammyg
I think I also once saw Transatlanticism for about 30 like 6 months ago. I really hope I imagined this

There was a copy at the local record store for almost a year and every time I put it off and all the sudden it was gone. I also really wish I had been into vinyl when Something To Write Home About and Through Being Cool came out.

moraleclipse
jesu - conqueror (clear) That one sold out so quick on conspiracy's site. I had one in my cart and went to checkout and the site messed up. By the time I closed my browser and reopened it, they were all gone. thesupervillain
I bought Relationship Of Command for $12 at my local shop when it came out. They also still had Vaya and in/CASINO/OUT, which I unfortunately did not buy. Also, I bought Something To Write Home About when I saw TGUK open for At The Drive-In, but did not buy Woodson or Red Letter Day. Oops. muskawo
[I'd have to say the 1st Press of Deja Entendu. There was a copy at the local record store for almost a year and every time I put it off and all the sudden it was gone. I remember seeing it on three separate occasions at a record store in Melb. Now I think about it and wonder why the hell I didnt buy it.

Hopesfall - Satellite Years LP (held this one in my hand but it was before I was really into records and now that shop is gone, even though that was the only good thing they had minus a couple of cds). Against Me! - White People For Peace 12" Remix dealy I stood at the merch table with it in my hand, but went "I already have the 7 inch..." At the time, I wasn't overly interested in getting every release, just the full albums, but I've never had the opportunity to buy another despite really, really wanting to. So.. if you've got one... melikecheese
About 4 or 5 years ago I was in the local video game store in the burbs...they also buy records, usually real crappy old stuff, the stock doesn't move much up there, stores run by kids who know nothing about music, just games. Well someone had just sold a HUGE Beatles collection to them. I picked up a few albums and this was before I really knew much about Beatles records. I was digging threw the records and see this one cover that made me stop and go WTF. Here are the Beatles sitting there with doll parts all over them. Weird I thought to myself and after a minute of looking and laughing to myself I put it back and kept looking. So a few months later I learned about the "butcher cover" and had the biggest "Waaaaa waaaaa waaaaaaa" moment of my life. I figure I could have sold a record that could not have been more then $10 for several thousand...oh well, better luck next time.

eatmorebeans
The first two Muse albums when they were released. Both times I considered buying them, but for one reason or another didn't. Now you're lucky to see them selling for under £100, closer to £200 for Showbiz :-/
cadetapplesauce
some other ones... blink 182 - lemmings 7" (probably would've been on yellow) foo fighters - one by one 2x10" jets to brazil - orange rhyming dictionary for $
rtw88
Portugal. The Man- The Pines/The Devil Is this hard to come by now? I bought mine for $1 when it came out because the record store was selling the free ones they got from ordering the LP. Also, a couple months ago I passed up the Movielife split 7" for 5 bucks in my record store.
