mclz
Yeah, this one was a bust. Constructed in MS Paint because I'm an idiot when it comes to graphic design. You may think it's a bust, but I've seen covers just like this in my many years of searching through bins...and the sad part is, the bands actually chose those covers! scotterson
so is there a way to save a good size picture from flickr? i just did a screen grab... also, i cheated, as my first wikipedia entry was 'shakira discography'
pjaicomo
I usually just click on the random one until I get one that lets me grab it (if there is an option for more sizes). You so should have kept Shakira Discog.
danthemjfan23
your first post on this page of the thread gave me an idea, patrick.... i think we should also say what type of music they would play (or do a RIYL section) based on our album covers. thoughts? pjaicomo
I was thinking about proposing that early, but I lazied out of it. I think it is a good idea and will start doing it. I think we should write a short blurb about the band and the album too. "11628 Katuhikoikeda is an electronic collective made up of various artists. But I'm On My Way marks an expansion from their previously minimalist style into a more colorful vein with more complex compositions. RIYL: Booka Shade, College = Communism"
thedavidescapeplan
I was going to do this and the name for my band was Green Day. I gave up after this.

danthemjfan23
David Bain's breakthrough album "level with yourself" is an interesting take on sci-fi movie theme songs played with a keytar and backed by a drum machine. he recorded and produced the album by himself over a four month span in his home studio. Sounds Like: The members of Devo fighting the cast of Star Wars, and everybody wins.
danthemjfan23
Godiva's name may sound sweet, but the lyrics on their latest release "where the werewolf is" are anything but. The album title is a nod to how lead singer Emmanuel Valentine used to refer to his grandmother's basement growing up, a source of inspiration for the dark imagery and obvious pain being sung out with every line. RIYL: Darkest Hour, In Flames

scottheisel
People should check MySpace to see if there's actually any bands with these names, too.
