AlexH.
http://www.crossroadsofamericarecords.com/: 15 years after its initial groundbreaking release, starflyer 59's seminal debut full-length is finally being re-issued on vinyl for the very first time! we're doing a limited edition of 500 180g LPs, cut from the original master recordings. needless to say, we're super excited about this one, and about being a part of the history of the world's greatest american rock band of all-time, ever. we'll let you know the official release date in a few weeks! There's a test pressing on eBay, and it puts the release date as March 31. Now, someone needs to press Old, and repress the whole SF59 back catalog, because every release goes for upwards of 50 bucks on eBay. idiot
starflier? Exactly. Incredible mistype. I don't think it is a mistype. The first CD pressing of the album included this mistype.......so i guess it is all a inside joke for the fans.
bjorn
Got mine a couple days ago...that "Blue Collar Love" guitar tone is magic. This brings me right back to my sophomore year in high school I'm a little dissappointed that there was no insert and the vinyl is a little noisy. Other than that, I'm thrilled. Where? I just looked at my first pressing CD and don't see it mistyped anywhere. Actually I can't remember. I was shown, and offerd a copy with the mistype, according to the seller it was only the very first pressing that contained this error, approx 500 copies or so...
