geezfools
Just saw this posted on the fat wreck site... The year 2007 marked American Steel’s triumphant return as a band, when they reunited to release Destroy Their Future here on Fat. The record was a delight to old fans and gained them accolades in the media and throughout the punk scene. Well, we’ve got good news folks, these four East Bay veterans have been back in guitarist Ryan Massey’s recording studios crafting their next full length due out July 21st. The record is named Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts, and you can check out the cover art and tracklisting below: 1: Emergency House Party 2: Tear the Place Apart 3: Safe and Sound 4: Your Ass Ain’t Laughing Now 5: The Blood Gets Everywhere 6: From Here To Hell 7: Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts 8: Lights Out 9: Bergamot 10: Where You Want To Be 11: Finally Alone 12: Meals & Entertainment

dante3000
Rouges March and Jagged Thoughts aren't too hard to get (maybe $30 on the outside). The Self-Titled has skyrocketed in the last couple of years. I think it tends to sell over $100.

mclz
Am I the only one that thought the last record was terrible? i don't know about terrible, but i don't really dig it. i liked it a lot. i just think that people were expecting the old american steel, but i think doing communique, they changed their style for am steel. amsteel
Based on 'Sacred Heart' I'm guessing this album will blend Communique's & American Steel's sounds even more, which is pretty great in my book.
