iTunes "WANT ME OFF? LOCK YOUR SYSTEM BIATCH"

Recommended Posts

so I was messing around on iTunes, just listening to some stuff and I noticed on the left side between "Devices" (my iPod was plugged in) and "Playlist" was a "Shared" option that said "Want me off, Lock your system biatch". I immediately disconnected from my internet and it went away.

I reconnected and it's back. The only thing that seems to work is if I am on a neighbors signal (which I am now).

The only thing I can think is that this person got through my soulseek, but even with that closed it's still there.

Any idea how I can block this fool, or whatever it is?

it sounds like you must have your itunes as a shared library with people on your network. it is an option. or else, maybe their library is shared and you can see it on your end under devices.

edit / preferences

sharing

check and see if 'share my library on my local network' is selected.

and if so, you can select 'require password'.

someone's just sharing your signal and has their itunes library set to share. My old neighbour's library was shared with my computer for ages, must have been accidental, he had a shit load of porn on there.

Haha. I knew a guy freshman year, and he could see everyone's libraries on his floor of his dorm, and some guy had some animal porn on there.
