advice on pressing...

this is how labels like no idea get the random pressing of 50 and less....

they just order the "left over vinyl" which means that whatever is in the machines at the end of the day is what gets pressed. thats why a lot of the colors are a gray/blue/purple/crap mix. sometimes you'll get all of that one nasty color, and for no random reason you'll have 10 blue records. thats what happened to the 1st and 2nd pressing of our 7" (new bruises/stolen bikes ride faster): http://deadformat.net/press/2678#press

its kinda cool cuz you get crazy colors, but a PAIN for collectors who really want to get every color.
