3milesdown
I hate when my vinyl get all dusty. Is it a bad idea to use one of those air spray cans (ones you use for computers?) to just dust off all the dust?
brammyg
Those things are awesome... Not sure about using them on vinyl though

borf
Yes, very bad idea. The high pressure and freeze danger from those will drive particles into your groooves and scratcch yo shit up. Try using a soft vinyl-designated brush and a little bit off mineral water, i think thats the most foolproof way of getting the job done. borf
ooops i meant distilled water, not shit with bubbls in it. a mix of mostly distilled water and a tiny bit of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol is what i do.
thischarmingham
Water with a splash of windex. I learned it from my first boss at a record store. Works like a charm. Clean with a very soft fabric. He always used cloth diapers.

kyle
Why would you need to clean your vinyl? Dust, dirt, skin oil, etc. Was that serious question or did you just want to use the word "vinyl"?

3milesdown
Why would you need to clean your vinyl? Mostly dust. I usually take care of my vinyl, but there are a couple that I got that are too dirty and it affects the sound
