Win Tickets to the Gaslight Anthem/Murder By Death

If you don't already know, the Gaslight Anthem are one of our absolute favorite bands on the planet. When Vinyl Collective first started, one of the first records we did well with was their debut album, "Sink or Swim". We have seen the band grow leaps and bounds since that first release and their most recent album, "The 59 Sound" to this day is the best selling album of Vinyl Collective's 3 year history, an album that saw the guys take their songwriting to a whole other level. The guys are about to embark on a tour that starts next week and if you ask me, this is one of the best lineups for a tour this fall. Having Murder by Death and Loved Ones on this tour is hard to beat. And their selections for openers is just as solid, of course we are a little biased since one of our bands, Ninja Gun are opening the first 4 dates. Other openers include Frank Turner, Broadway Calls, and The Measure SA.

As you might imagine, we were absolutely floored when our main man, Eddie over at Side One Dummy called yesterday suggesting we do some kind of contest involving the upcoming tour. We will be giving away a pair of tickets to every date on this upcoming tour which starts next Tuesday. Here is how it works:

1. Purchase anything in the Vinyl Collective store by any of the bands on this tour. This includes releases by The Gaslight Anthem, Murder by Death, Loved Ones, Ninja Gun, Frank Turner, Broadway Calls, and/or the Measure SA. Either search for one of the artists in our store or follow this link http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Store/Search.aspx?&Page=1&Sort=1&key=ga1234abcd which has releases by all the bands on this tour.

2. Email Seabron (seabron @ suburban home records dot com) your Checkout Complete email and in the subject of that email list one of the cities and the date you would like to win a pair of tickets to (refer to the list below).

3. Seabron each week will announce the winners. The first announcement will come Monday, September 7th. Seabron will email the winners letting them know and we will post the winners each week on the blog and messsage board.

In addition to the contest, we want to encourage everyone to post photos, videos, stories, comments about the date(s) you are attending.
