We are excited to announce the thirteenth release of our Under the Influence series. The series finds bands we love recording songs that have influenced their song writing. The artwork has been put together by the very talented Mitch Clem and Nation of Amanda who have been asked to make their own renditions of the album art that the song being covered originally appeared. For this thirteenth release, Fallen From The Sky cover “This Is A Call” by Foo Fighters and Wonders Years cover “Zip Lock” by Lit. The 7″s will come with a coupon that will allow you to download the tracks as mp3s. Pressing info and Pre-order date will be announced soon. We expect to have this release out by the middle of March.

Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 are all out of print (some copies are still circulating at various distros). Volumes 5, 6, and 7 will soon be out of print. Volumes 1-10 will be compiled as a limited edition CD pressing. Mitch Clem is currently working up a few ideas for the cover art for the compilation. Listen to the tracks from the first 12 volumes and view all the amazing art on the Under the Influence page http://www.vinylcollective.com/under-the-influence-series/ we have set up. Although a number of the 7″s are out of print, you can still find the digital tracks on your favorite digital site (Itunes, Emusic, Amazon, and through our store).

Wicked cover art, and I will admit that "A Place in the Sun" was one of the first I bought with my own money. Zip-Lock, Miserable(loved the video), and My Own Worst Enemy were definitely on constant play when I was younger. Pretty psyched about this one! Any info on colours yet, or will it onyl be announced when they go up for sale?

Hello! Psyched on both sides (Particularly the Foo cover). Nice to see some UTI news!

man, we are waiting on 1 song from about 5 different under the influence 7"s. Waiting on Minus the Bear, Loved Ones, and a few I can't mention. Should be a flood gate of 7"s soon

Should I spend 50 dollars on this, or 50 on getting some chuck ragan records?

both are great ideas. Go to a casino, put the $50 on black at a roulette table and do both!
