Leave it be. i have never pushed my ideals on anyone, and i've made it very clear that i do my own thing and everyone else does theirs. as long as you're not drinking and getting into a car and killing someone, i don't give a crap what anyone else does. this thread disgusts me a little, not because it talks about drugs, but because of the gross generalizations being made about people like myself who are straight edge. i don't think it's fair to say edge kids are so judgemental when nothing negative was said about people who choose to drink, smoke, do drugs, etc was said in the first place. Where are you getting this information on sexual intercourse? Here's my issue with edge: it is way too similar to narrow-minded Judeo-Christian principles. It's a crutch just like any other - some have alcohol, some have Jesus, and some have Minor Threat - everyone seems to need a "label" or an ethos in order to justify their actions (or inactions)… And this promiscuity = disease line you pulled out your ass? If that's what edge is about, then you should probably live in a hermetically sealed bubble. There are far more efficient ways of contracting a disease than thru intercourse… EDIT: Bill Hicks would have a great time in this thread!
