destroyingthescene
Olympics start this Friday, who's excited for the biathlon?? Being in Vancouver makes catching the Olympic "spirit" almost unavoidable, but catching any competitions costs a pretty penny so I'll probably being watching them from home. davezer
Really fucking pissed that the USA vs Canada hockey game is not being televised. Instead they will be televising team ice dancing. WHAT THE FUCK! is that even a sport?! My childhood best friend, Jon Quick, is on the USA Hockey team and I'd like to watch him play. This is Bullshit! But I think USA will own. kirbypuckett
Ultimately in hockey it'd be nice if USA won, but I'm thinking Canada will. A Canada vs. Russia final match would be incredible.

coasterguy2
Just to clear up some confusion. Streams from tsn.ca and ctv.ca will only work if your ip address is from canada. You wil be blocked otherwise. In the US, you can sign up to watch stuff from NBC's networks (NBC, USA, MSNBC, CNBC, Universal) which will probably show most of everything you want to see. The catch to this however is you must provide your login to either your cable or satellite provider's online account, who will then verify you are a customer that pays for those channels already. Myself, I don't pay for those, but am using my parents account to login and enjoy pretty much everything those networks will televise (including the USA vs Canada Round Robin game which is probably on one of the cable channels). Oh and the only snow that is missing in Vancouver that is necessary is at the moguls/halfpipe facility which is closer to Vancouver. It will be strange to not see snow in Vancouver itself at the village, medal area, around the arenas etc.

We have tickets for USA - Canada, Russia - Czech Republic, and 2 others, I think it's Slovakia - Belarus and Germany - Latvia.

We're seeing RUS-SVK on Thursday and men's curling on Wednesday (4 games at once I think). So lucky you're seeing USA-CAN! That would be amazing. adamlikesmusic
Not knocking Thailand, but I think China should be in the poll rather than Thailand (sorry Yu!). I probably won't be watching much if any of the olympics. I find the summer games a lot more exciting and interesting.
