rhinoceric
With all the albums getting repressed this year, I hope it is only a matter of time. I do not feel like paying eBay prices for these records. Who is with me here?
servo
im amazed at how long these have stayed out of print and what a monumentally bad business decision that is... its like hey, we've got these albums by one of the biggest bands in the world, got the plates just gotta repress... we could sell thousands of these damn near immediately... eh lets hold off a while like what the fuck? somebody hates free money

seafoamgreen
Weren't there some weird random repressings of Good News floating around somewhere recently?
dreamover
I was told the label would have more "good news" after Christmas. Never happened.

evvandflow
ah shit you're right, i spelled it wrong when searchin on DF and it never hits ebay so i figured it hadnt been. then repress that to!
casey
Sub Pop is really weird about repressings. The prevailing attitude is they don't want to reduce the value of records they already pressed. But they did repress all the Murder City Devils stuff, so there's hope. As for why Up won't repress MM, that's a fucking mystery because it's not like the're raking it in over there.
rtw88
Sub Pop also repressed Sunny Day Real Estate (pretty sure this was sub pop??)
xxmartinxx
I emailed UP Records about repressing the Modest Mouse LPs and Built To Spill "There's Nothing Wrong With Love" over a year ago, I never got a reply.

Considering how much the originals go for, they must really hate free money. Besides, represses usually make original copies sell for more money because people have to have the originals. bunit
I have been toying with the idea of selling my modest mouse stuff. I have Building something out of nothing, moon and antacrtica, everywhere and his nasty parlour tricks and sad sappy sucker.
jurrobear
Ugly Cassanova's only album needs to be pressed period. my ex has two copies (one sealed) of this along with multiple copies of the Modest Mouse catalog. I always asked her for them but she wouldnt budge, the only benefits of working at Amoeba.
deafmx
Ugly Cassanova's only album needs to be pressed period. this, this, this! I'd buy some 90s Modest Mouse albums on vinyl for sure too.

Japes
I'd love to see This Is a Long Drive, and all of the other old albums get pressed because I feel like those albums are soemthing everyone should get to listen to on vinyl. I've got Lonesome Crowded West, Moon & Antarctica and Good News, and I'm really wanting to find This Is a Long Drive somewhere. Also, happy 6 years Good News. You were the soundtrack to my summer that year, haha.
