jaaake
The guitarist that was in HH Casey died last night in his sleep. Even though I didn't really like the band, it's still pretty sad and all, makes it even sadder it happened during the Holiday Season. Guest abravemorning
As much as I didn't like this band, this is pretty sad news. My condolences to the family and friends.
mattisr1984
never liked this band at all but heartbreaking news. thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and bandmates. HH earned a lot more respect from me for fighting for what they felt was best for their band.

cadetapplesauce
never ever ever liked this band, but they have my sympathy. no matter how much i dislike them, nobody should ever deserve to lose a friend like that. not to just go to sleep and never wake up. at least drugs could give you something to blame. i dunno.. i think i just feel like this because i went to a funeral this morning. lauren
i dont understand people who feel the need to express their opinion of the band this guy was in, as if it matters anymore.
steventangent
It probably has a lot to do with people shutting off the part of their brain that makes them automatically disregard the band. A lot of us here aren't fans of Hawthorne Heights but there's a big difference between not liking them for their music and suddenly seeing them as people that deserve our condolences. That said, I've never cared for Hawthorne Heights, but that is really sad news.
xlovecolouredx
i'm not a hh fan but i think it so scary if you wake up in the moring and move to your friend sleep place and met he already gone in the same bus/van....
Guest falloutcollapse
That sucks, their album was the first one I could play completely by ear when I started playing guitar.

kurtmanner
That sucks, their album was the first one I could play completely by ear when I started playing guitar. Hahaha, I don't think that's a good thing, on their part. This is some really sad news, seriously.

scottheisel
I'm gonna go with drugs It wasn't drugs. Casey never did anything harder than drinking occasionally. I knew Casey, and I'm just incredibly shocked at this. That entire band is comprised of some of the nicest, down-to-earth dudes to ever pick up instruments, but Casey was far and away the friendliest, goofiest, happiest one -- he just loved doing what he did. I'm betting it was something like a brain aneurysm or a heart attack -- just a sudden thing in his sleep. I hope he passed peacefully. sgoodcore
Some sad and scary news. It always freaks me out when people near my age, if not slightly younger just pass away like this, with no reason.
riddle350
I was suprised when I saw this. Always sucks when shitty things happen to good people. Especialy this close to the holidays.
jaaake
Reported as some sort of Asthama condition.
